1. Receiving patients for haemodialysis from inpatient or outpatient.
2. Checking weights and vital signs.
3. Providing comfortable and safety environment for the patient during dialysis.
4. Preparing of the machine priming, checking and setting the desired parameters on the machine.
5. Preparing the patient for dialysis by
A.assessing the access
B.physical assessment
C.psychological support to the patient and family.
6. Accessing the patient for the haemodialysis by strict aseptic through cannulation of graft and fistula and femoral and subclavian catheter.
7. Monitoring during dialysis.
A.vital signs and physical condition.
B.machine parameters
C.observation and immediate action for possible complication.
8. Carrying out doctor’s order.
9. Termination of dialysis in a safe and aseptic manner.
10. Checking vital signs and weight post dialysis.
11. Assessment of access and health teachings.
12. Discharging the patient after dialysis in safe condition.
13. Cleaning and disinfecting the machine and unit.
14. Preparing for the next dialysis session.
