Aiding instructor in conducting classroom exercises and activities, grading homework, tutoring students in Modern Standard Arabic, mentoring students in the Syrian/Levantine Dialect, grading papers and other exercises, brainstorming with T.A.’s, instructors, and director of institute to optimize student learning and assimilation
Translating from Arabic to English and English to Arabic in both the oral and written mediums for the University Rectorship and the Tempus Office, interviewing important figures at the research centers affiliated with Damascus University, composing a biography of each center, and designing a brochure to circulate this information
Study Abroad May 2010-June 2011 Arabic Overseas Flagship Program-Damascus, Syria University of Texas at Austin in Partnership with Damascus University Lived, studied, and worked in Damascus, Syria from May 2010-June 2011. While completing the program, lived with Syrian Law Student at Damascus University in immersed Arabic Language environment, from October 2010-May 2010.
