o While in the position as a Graphic Designer, have also done the job of a marketing coordinator such as:
o Creating and effectively implementing the marketing calendar and marketing plan for the brand ensuring that all the marketing activities are executed in line with expectations.
o Assisting the marketing manager/brand manager in creating the budget of marketing of the brand as per the actual cost of the POS and other tools to be used per campaign.
o Support some areas in marketing including event support, marketing administration, budget tracking, basic copywriting, print management, proofreading, database collation and a wide range of marketing-related tasks.
o Looking at the cost-efficient suppliers and building a database of suppliers.
o Communicate competently with the suppliers in terms of briefing the project, specifications, budget and setting realistic deadlines including its delivery to the warehouse ensuring that consumables/marketing POS are delivered just in time.
o Planning and forecasting
o Ensure all consumable budgeting and forecasting for the brand is done
o Maintain the brand consumable list
o Planning quantities and deliveries as per timelines
o Ensuring brand consumable stock is on level
o Keep up to date with SOH in all country’s warehouses on a weekly basis
o Identifying new suppliers for the brand consumables to improve quality and or reduce costs
o Manage brand consumables at an optimum level with direction from the manager
o Work on all stages of creative from concept development through release; this includes layout design and presentation, attend still or fashion photo shoots, editing and placing and final approval.
o Responsible for visual elements in print and broadcast ads, supervises or creates layouts; hires photographers, illustrators.
o Work closely on all stages of planning and directing photography; this includes talent selection, location selection and on-location shoot management.
o Work closely with Copywriters to ensure the visual support/strategy and enhance copy and develop ad concept.
o Work closely with Creative Director to ensure the visual support and strategy for a cohesive message.
o Help oversee the production and completion of all creative projects on time and with budget constraints.
