▪ Categories handled for EPC Projects & MRO activities - Mechanical,
Electrical & Instrumentation bulk material packages. Static and Rotating
equipment’s for oil and gas and petrochemical industries. Parts include
Compressors, Pumps, safety valves, transformers, flowmeters, sensors,
actuators, accumulators, gearmotors, motors, transmitters, circuit breakers,
heaters and enclosures, regulators, gauges, analyzers etc.
▪ Sourcing & Procurement: Execute sourcing by identifying category and
complexity of requirements, identify new supply source, market analysis
and spend analysis. Clarify technical queries, negotiate terms and price.
Formulate catalogue procurement based on category.
▪ Lead team on sourcing, negotiation, new supplier developments,
alternative vendors and records all cost savings; Support overall supplier
evaluation in terms of overall procurement performance; Issue Technical
Queries (TQ) received from end customer to the vendors and obtain
appropriate clarifications.
▪ Expediting, ensure zero defect in goods delivery, perform quality checks
and resolve post order/delivery discrepancies, warranty claims, verify
documentation requirements.
▪ Supervising and reporting on overall strategic goals and suppliers,
including performance, efficiency, scale, flexibility, pricing and risks.
▪ Develop procurement strategic objectives and initiatives and monitor
implementation. Provide ideas to improve the internal procurement ERP
software application, risk analysis, marker analysis.
▪ Doha North Sewage Treatment Works Project: Worked as a key personal
to handle Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Instrumentation & control
supply and service requirements for EPC process packages, plant
maintenance, repair and operations (MRO).
▪ Categories handled - Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation
and Chemicals which include pumps, motors, actuators, gearbox, blowers,
Diesel Generators, Wheel loaders, EOT cranes, valves, conveyors, bag
filters, VFD’s, flowmeters, Gas analyzers, detectors, transformers, motors
Chlorine tonner, Ferric Chloride, Lime, H2So4, Sodium Hydroxide,
Sodium Hypochlorite, Laboratory chemicals & Reagents etc.
▪ Execute the project procurement strategies through tendering, negotiations
and active contract management. Coordinating with all related
departments and managing the fulfillment of requisitions within the given
timeline.
▪ Ensured fair and open competition bid processes by managing complex
requests for proposals, evaluation of returned proposals, invitation and
selection of vendors and award of contracts. Liaising with vendors on
delivery of inferior quality materials, replacement and warranty claim etc.
Maintaining track records of orders, local and global suppliers etc.
▪ Responsible for expediting and complete logistics part of the project
which includes verification of Incoterms, receiving quotations from
logistics freight forwarders, Negotiation, verification of shipping
documents if complying with local customs requirements, insuring
shipments based on criticality, collection arrangements, customs clearance
and delivery.
▪ Developing long-term partnerships with suppliers, managing day-to-day
supplier performance to meet service, cost, delivery and quality norms.
Evaluating Supplier performance to ensure adherence to predefined
specifications and supply of quality material, ensure execution of job
works in compliance with site work safety (HSE) policy/regulations.
▪ Analyzed scraps received from the process, categorize and maintain
inventory and records, make decision on sell, recycle, reuse and disposal
after management approval. Activated reverse logistics procedure for
refurbishments.
▪ Responsible for performing purchase of Machinery and Piping
components include DG’s, main engines, gearbox, pumps, incinerators,
compressors, Electric motors, pipes and fittings, valves, tubes, hoses,
supports, fasteners, tools and consumables services which meet
established quality standards, availability requirements and price
constraints for shipbuilding and ship repair activities.
▪ Coordinating with other departments within the organization to aid in the
process of material inspection, inventory check, standardization,
replacement, and substitution of several mechanical parts and equipment.
▪ Reviewed and managed supplier base to ensure consistency with the
sourcing strategy; Participated in Category Management support.
▪ Analyzing Nonmoving, slow moving inventory and disposal of Non-moving inventory and saleable surplus, scrap materials.
▪ Handled procurement of raw materials for production such as sheet
metals, welding machines, electrodes, pipes, heating coils, bars, angles
and Channels.
▪ Responsible for reviewing work orders, scope of works received from
clients and identify extra work. Finalized engineering deliverables,
engineering management to meet the deadlines of project as per schedule.
▪ Efficiently lead procurement activity for projects allocated. Proficiently
floated enquiries to vendors as per material requisition prepared, based on
engineering drawings
