Responsibilities: (MEP- Electrical Design Engineer)
• Prepare electrical power riser and single-line diagrams and load calculations.
• Circuiting of power, lighting, equipment and preparation of panel board schedules.
• Motor connections and coordination with mechanical and plumbing disciplines.
• Lighting controls documentation which included switching, dimming, photocells, motion sensors, DALI system design, and preparation of relay cabinet schedules.
• Fire alarm system riser diagrams and device layouts.
• Design plan for Access Controls/CCTV, Intruder alarm, Fire Alarm, Sound Systems and other Low Current & Security Systems.
• Ensure collection and dissemination of pertinent information of the project(s).
• Technical specification review and resolution.
• To ensure installation is done in a productive manner in-line with standard QA and HSE procedures.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Planning and Quality departments.
• Schedule and monitor program activity to achieve an “on-time” result including follow-up with external suppliers.
• Ensure necessary competence level to achieve project targets.
• Co-ordinate with Green Building Professionals for design, construction and operation of high performance green buildings.
