Currently working as Shift Supervisor, looking after commissioning activities of Oil Movement section in the new upcoming refinery in Al Ruwais.
Looking after Tank farms and other Off-site facilities like Flare Systems, Waste Water Treatment Plants, Sewer Systems and Cryogenic Propylene Systems.
Responsible for safe commissioning of Cryogenic Propylene Tanks and Propylene Gas to Liquid Plant along with other off-site facilities.
Actively involved in review of P&IDs, PFDs, Plant Operating & Commissioning Manuals and other important documents related to Oil Movement.
Directly handling FAT & SAT of various plant equipments including the Yokogawa DCS systems and looking after functional testing of DCS, FAS & other systems.
Well trained to highest safety standards and well versed with the procedures related to Permit to Work and safe commissioning practices.
• Hold credentials of possessing Boiler Operation Engineer (BOE) Certificate issued by Government of Andhra Pradesh, India.
• Thorough experience in operational aspects of D.C.S. systems built by YOKOGAWA, Japan and Honeywell and ABB SCADA Systems, handling 6 high pressure Boilers through DCS, De-mineralization plants, Steam balancing and other related activities.
• Responsible for operation of High Pressure Boilers including Waste heat recovery Boilers (CO and HRSGs), D M Plants and other Utilities viz. Water treatment Plants, Condensate Recovery Plants, Drinking Water Plants, Utility Air compressors and Steam Turbines.
• As Shift Engineer, responsible for ensuring un-interrupted supply of Steam, Fuel Oil & other Utilities irrespective of any emergencies / utility system failures; Coordinating production Startups, Shutdowns, and Changeovers. Safely releasing all Plant Equipment & Connected lines for De- commissioning & commissioning during T&Is; maintaining inventories of Chemicals, Additives, Lube Oils, etc. for effective cost control.
• Always taking proactive measures to avoid any near miss incidents / accidents with good observation & prediction. Strict adherence to all HSE and Safety Audits' recommendations and reporting & review of the same. Actively involved in conducting HAZOP Studies, Internal / External and Joint Safety Audits for safe and incident - free completion of Projects, Shutdowns and other critical jobs; conducting Mock Emergency Drills in both On-site & Off-sites; special focus on Near-Miss Events.
• As Shift In-charge, involved in unit level production planning, resource allocation, co-ordination with other departments to achieve planned targets. Well experienced in trouble shooting and emergency handling by initiating appropriate corrective actions, giving necessary instructions to field Supervisors, field operators and maintenance personnel.
• Actively involved in Daily Plant Review Meetings, Preparation of Action Plans, Implementation and Compliance Reports, MOCs, Material Issue Notifications etc. Also an active member of Refinery Safety Committee.
• Also experienced in Operation and Maintenance of Waste Water Treatment Plants meeting MINAS (Minimal National Standards)
• Thorough knowledge of Commissioning, Decommissioning of High Pressure Boilers, Pressure Vessels, Steam lines and related equipment like Steam Turbines, Pumps, Safety Valves and other related equipment. Well trained in Safety systems of highest international standards.
• Monitoring all the operative equipments under the control with a view to ensure proper resource allocation and optimization. Preparation of Scheduled maintenance works during Plant shut downs. Responsible for maintenance and Preventive maintenance works in co-ordination with maintenance staff.

As a Shift Supervisor, O.M.&S, having thorough experience in handling SCADA systems built by YOKOGAWA, Japan and A.B.B. Systems, monitoring nearly 104 Tanks (Crude and Product Tanks); Connected Pumps, Motor Operated Valves, Remote Operated Valves (Pneumatic), Mass Flow Meters, Online Blending and other equipment.
Responsible for Crude Receipts, Product Shipments, Pipeline Transfers, internal transfers and blends along with their quantification and relevant Documentation. Looking after Operational and Maintenance aspects of Tanks, Pumps and Pipeline network spanning several kilometers.
Entrusted with the task of handling of LPG and Propylene Spheres and Bullets operations and product transfer and distribution, Panel Board Operation of LPG Storage and Transfer facilities.
Handled periodic maintenance activities like Commissioning and Decommissioning of Hydrocarbon Tanks; LPG and Propylene Spheres for Hydro testing and Recalibration by Surveyors, Excise and other statutory authorities.

• As charge-man, responsible for Crude and Product and tank gauging, Sampling and Product Receipts, Shipments and Routing of Unit Rundowns to Various tanks.
• Responsible for Quantification of Crude and Product tanks and Pipeline transfers and related Excise Regulations.
• Helping Shift Supervisor in ensuring the Quality and Quantity in Crude and Product Tankage.
As Chare-man, responsible for Start up and Shutdowns of High Pressure Boilers and other related Utilities like D. A. s, Boiler Feed Water Pumps etc.
Hands on experience in running the De-mineralization Plants and Internal Fuel Oil Systems and Condensate Recovery & Polishing Units to cater the requirements of Boilers & other process units.
Responsible for Supply of utilities like Acid, Caustic, Yard Air, Utility Water, Nitrogen, etc. including supply of Drinking Water to entire Refinery and relevant quantification.
Experienced in running of Waste Water Treatment Plants and Effluent Treatment Plants. Ensured meeting the required standards as stipulated by Pollution Boards and other Statutory Regulations.
