• Develop, implement and maintain Occupational Health, Safety and Management Systems, Regulations, policies and Programs that enable the Business to:
Meet the requirements of OSHAD standards,
Meet applicable HSE laws and regulations
Identify and manage HSE risks effectively
• Perform HSE audits to assess compliance with applicable local regulations and OSHAD standards requirements.
• Conducting a daily walkdown all over the work sites to pick up the safety observations and weekly safety tour with a leader from top management
• Conducting the daily issued Safety Documents auditing at work sites to make sure are comply with the requirements.
• Manage Risk assessments, waste management, safe driving, fire System Maintenance etc.
• Analyze HSE data and prepare periodic reports for Senior Management, various government agencies and regulators. such as Engie, DoE and OSHAD
• Perform Incidents report & Investigations.
• Conducting all our emergency planning and drillings (e.g. evacuation drills, rescue drills and fire Scenarios etc.)
• HSE Team Leadership Responsibilities (managing direct reports)
• Managing HSE Department and fire station and security section.
• Develop/Review the company HSE policy, Rules, Procedures, work Instructions and emergency
management to covering ISO9001, 14001 and OHSAS18001.
• Rectifying, closing daily undesirable observations and reporting to top management.
• Conduct HSE Audits to ensure the company comply with the HSE standards.
• Set up the risk control measures with consulting with acceptors & supervisors.
• Re-assessment of the risk to improve the control measures.
• Review the company risk management procedures periodically.
• Set up and follow up action plan for unacceptable risks/impacts.
• Issue the statistic reports.
• Follow up implementation / Inspections and Audits.
• Inspect and testing the all Fire Systems periodically.
• Recommending of necessary action or procedural changes to correct areas not in compliance with regulations.
• Inspecting to issue Confined Space, hot work, Ionization and diving….etc permits
• providing of best practice information and guidance to assist with health and safety in the workplace.
• Establishes the preventive maintenance system and the testing of fire fighting system.
• Leading and supervising fire service personnel and auxiliary fire team members during responding to the fire alarm, toxic gas detectors and other emergency calls.
• Supervising controlling procedures of other similar duties as confined space, hot work permits and using portable devices to evaluate the statuses… etc.
• Inspecting, operating, maintaining and testing for all equipment and fire fighting system daily, weekly, monthly and annually.
• Performing Water Spray (Deluge systems), Auxiliary boilers foam and Sprinklers system testing and inspection.
• Perform fire pumps, fire water monitors/hydrants, hoses systems, and post indicator valves testing, flushing and inspecting.
• Participates in the testing and maintenance of the Carbon dioxide and Fire alarms systems.
• Maintains records of all inspection, operation, testing and maintenance activities.
