• Counsel male students, staff and alumni in individual and group settings concerning career-related matters.
• Responsible for designing, implementing, supervising and assessing career programs for colleges (Arts and Science, Medicine, Islamic Studies, Pharmacy and Health Sciences).
• Assist in fostering and maintaining relationships with multitudes of campus entities (i.e., Assistant Deans, Academic Advising, Student Counseling, Student Learning Support, Student Activities, Student Retention, Foundation Program, External Relations and Graduate Studies.)
• Represent QU Career Services in the MENASA NSPA and NACE communities.
• Represent Career Services Center in different on-campus events and fairs.

• Support the recruitment, orientation, training and supervision of Student Workers (Peer Helpers), and ensure proper on-boarding and ongoing training.
• Deliver a wide range of workshops and training programs to students (Leadership, Team working, Career Excellence, Career Planning, CV Writing, Interview skills, Oral Presentation, etc.).
• Develop, organize, coordinate, and supervise career planning activities and services for the campus.
• Provide Assistance in relation to job placement activities and services involving students, and alumni.
• A member of many QU strategy execution committees such as (Strategic Enrollment Management Planning, Second Year Student Experience, First-Year Student Experience, Pre-University Recruitment, Professional Development for Student Affairs practitioners and Early Alert System).
•Designs, develops and leads the implementation of the Career Development Strategy
•Connects the career development strategy with the Center strategy
•Manages the planning & implementation of the department annual budget

•Interviewing people one to one or in small groups to discuss career or education options.
•Helping young people to draw up action plans for employment, education and training and supporting them to achieve these goals.
•Researching careers, options and support organizations to meet people's needs.
•Providing advice on Resume, applications, job hunting and interview techniques.
•Running small group sessions or larger presentations on all aspects of careers work and topics related to personal development.
•Helping people to understand the current job market.
•Using skills assessment tools, career planners, psychometric tests and personal inventories.
•Keeping up to date with labor market information, and professional and academic developments by visiting employers, training providers and training events run by educational and professional bodies.
