Group Commercial strategy Manager
* Developing & implementing commercial strategies at the corporate level & subsidiaries including the following: - Distribution strategies including Customer's segmentation, market definition, assessments of opportunity cost of different market clusters & segment, developing strategies of customer segments targeting to enhance ASEC cement presence within market clusters.
- Commercial organization strategies including definition of needed service levels & the required commercial force headcount & level of skills needed to achieve the overall commercial department key performance indicators.
- New product launching strategies including opportunities, testing comparative market acceptance product concepts & relevant product launching techniques including branding, advertising, promotion & pricing, retention & reward program.
- Collection strategies that aims to minimize credit risk & definition of criteria of customer to grant credit.
- Decision of pricing strategies to maximize profitability & reduce credit sales volume & period, activities include definition of price structure depending on new distribution set up ( targeted segments), assessment of comparative delivered cost, assessment of demand elasticity depending price changes & developing customer retention plans & programs.
- Logistics strategies including definition of market to serve, the target share of delivered volume vs. pick up, risk pooling & optimizing the delivered cost through the choice of warehouses networks & utilization of distributers fleet to serve commercial distribution.
- Brand positioning strategies within different stakeholders segments including brand building activities, advertising, promotions, corporate social responsibility, and activities also include brand health tracking through market research.
* Assessment of demand evolution in the ASEC's relivent Markets in Sudan & Algeria through monitoring & studing the macro level & micro level demand dricvers.
* Assessment of validity of investment opportunities in local markets & MENA region markets in terms of prospected demand & economies of market demand fulfillment.
* Define the needed market research studies that support market decision making process including Product concepts testing, Customer satisfaction survey, Demand elasticity to price, Brand health tracking & Customer behavior study (purchasing decision process)
* Recruiting, monitoring the suppliers of marketing departments including:Advertising agencies, Public relation agencies & Marketing research agencies.
* Developing yearly marketing plan including designing processes & budgeting of all activities & programs related, monitoring, evaluating & reporting application & related expenditure against budget

* Creating the system for quality assurance through periodical third party testing.
* Creating & conducting the road shows program for El Mohandess Cement promotion ( newly launched product) that targeted the technician & laborers end users in upper Egypt
* Building on the success of road shows program I was assigned to: - Create & develop a new promotional educational program of school of laborers which was a full time four days complete training course for technicians & laborers including indoor, outdoor classes & laboratory testing classes.
- The school of laborers courses main subject is the building & construction process concentrating on explaining the right techniques of construction, estimation & choosing row materials.
- The program targets this segment of technicians & laborers to ensure the existence of important loyal influencers that recommend purchasing CEMEX Products by house holders of Upper Egypt.
