• Manages accounting functions including maintenance of general ledger, accounts payable, and project accounting; ensures accuracy and timeliness.
• Develops, implements and maintains systems, procedures and policies, including accounts payable functions to ensure adherence to company guidelines.
• Manages monthly closing of financial records and posting of month end information; ensures accuracy of financial statements.
• Acts as a liaison between the company and external accountants to meet information needs and to ensure that proper information is maintained for historical purposes.
• Selects and hires employees for the groups mentioned above. Trains and evaluates employees to enhance their performance, development, and work product. Addresses performance issues and makes recommendations for personnel actions. Motivates and rewards employees including providing salary increases, bonuses and promotions within allocated budgets and company guidelines.
• Trains AP team members based upon compliance of company policies and procedures.
• Provides assistance and/or decimation for internal / external audit requests in a timely manner.
• Responds to internal / external inquiries within 24hrs; researches and resolves invoices and payment discrepancies by communicating with appropriate internal business partners.
• Process and reconcile transactions with bank statement.
• Process, verify and reconcile input documentation.
• Reconcile and verify bank deposits and payments.
• Adhere to corporate standards and procedures in reconciliation clerical activities.

• Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance
• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

-Accountable for the ongoing analysis of process constraints, target costing projects, margin analysis, and tracing costs back to underlying activities.

-Construct and monitor those cost-effective data accumulation systems needed to provide an appropriate level of costing information to management.

-Providing upper level management with weekly forecasts of plant operating results.

-preparing the annual financial budget.

-Inventory management, control and valuation.

-Preparing the Monthly Profitability Reports and variance analysis.

- Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.

-Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries.

-Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities; verifying federal id numbers; scheduling and preparing checks; resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation; insuring credit is received for outstanding memos; issuing stop-payments or purchase order amendments.

-Posts Landed cost Invoices that relates to Customs, Clearance, Freight & Insurance for each shipment.

-Insure Petty Cash Invoices are posted on a daily Basis & controlling Petty Cash Holder Balance monthly, Quarterly & Annually
