Working on small projects for various companies and small businesses. Projects include designing and creating corporate identities & all the various print media these companies needed, (logos, stationeries, flyers, brochures, and packaging).
Communicating with the design department for the follow up of the client’s designs in terms of (layout, colors, quality …).
• Proofreading and checking designs for accuracy & executing revisions as necessary, making the needed adjustments.
• Preparing and editing of artwork for color separations and trapping solutions within a specific workflow.
• Working with color profiles, color adjustments and color corrections in Adobe Photoshop.
• Adjusting designs before engraving.
• Retrieving and archiving digital information.
• Working closely with the production team to identify problems and plan solutions.
Editing and managing content, designing the website's visual imagery/layout and web banner ads meeting the client's needs. In addition to providing a visual identity and all the print media needed.
Key duties and responsibilities include:
• Developing teaching materials, such as syllabi, visual aids, supplementary notes, or any additional relevant materials.
• Developing and organizing workshops and activities.
• Understanding the Student’s needs and developing suitable methods to improve their skills.
• Informing students of the procedures for completing and submitting class work, such as research papers and concept ideas.
• Advising students on academic and vocational curricula and career issues.
• Assisting students with the best methods to present their projects.
• Monitoring students’ progress in subjects and evaluating the student’s progress according to university guidelines.
• Teaching Graphic/Interior design students and providing them with academic & professional needs.
Relevant Coursework:
• Fundamentals of design including typography and calligraphy.
• Software courses (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign).
• Graphic Design studio courses including senior projects.
• Photography and History of graphic Design.
• Packaging and Professional Practice.
Additional Activities:
Managing designs, social media, event planning like graduation ceremonies, exhibitions, In-campus events and the students’ center activities, such as: Job fairs, campaigns, International and culture days (BeHance Sanaa/Aden 2014, TEDx Sanaa 2014).
