i am in charge of qualifying the matherial containes bulk ones like screws & nuts and other ones like pipes, hangers, fittings... and publishing quality control instructions, test methods, check lists, troubleshooting the technical problems and holding some educational courses besides procurment engineering is also on me. holding appoinment with different international vendores like Trox, ACO, Airsystem, Cimberio. Wolf, Hilti, Grundfoss, Dunfoss, Lovera, DUNHAM-BUSH, Ebara&... has done by me, and i am the representative of procurment engineering department in this meetings. i am always the speaker from the kayson company side.
i had approximately 5 subcontractor under my supervision. the number of worker was between 15 to 100. our working time was 7 in the morning to 7 at the evening, and our working days included Fridays. l was in charge of monitoring and handling the process of piping (including fit up procedure, welding testing touch up, insulation). Ducting (containes duct building, support installing, insulation), under ground facilities (containes buried polyethylen pipe of sewer, hydrant, irrigatin system, drainage system).
due to small size of the company and the the few person it had, l was in charge of doing almost everithing. because most of the employees l mentioned above were labor force. i used to act as an accountant, qc man, puchase man. even taking the material from warehouse and taking back the rejected or used one, was one of my duties. we were a contractor in renewing the domestic distribution water pipeline.even sometimes in absence of the responsible person, l voulentierly used to work with cutting machine. because the first step in changing the buried pipline is reachig them, and for that purpose its needed to dig the ground and in domestic areas firstly to cut the road rigid asphalt betumen.
i was in charge of handling the process of cutting the rigid layer, diging the ground, making a appropriate trench, tranporting the un needed soil, preparing the trench with fine soil for under the polyethylen pipe, completing the piping like welding the tees branches &.. getting the quality confirmation of the executive engineer, then doing the hydrosratic test, then leying the pipe, after that dumping the fine soil gradually and compacting that.
i was in charge of translating Heat transfer Cenjel book.
i used to translate the pages of the book and after each part i had a challenging discussion with my senior supervisor in selecting the most fluent expressions for the subjects. as he was my professor at university, he was very qualified and disciplined. and in case of example we were always searching for better solutions.
i studied in University of Tehran. i graduated at the time mentiond above.i loved my major because it was my own selection and i knew l was gifted(talented) in physics and mechanics. in the high school i was always one of the top three student. but in university based on the points i was never a top student but in aspect of comprehending the lessons i was one of the refrences for my classmates. this was due to my eager to going to gym. bodybuilding and swimming and taking rest after heavy exercise engaged most of my time. although after nearly two years l got that point and correct it. for example in SMAW welding i was the top student and in designing the mechanism i was one of top5. in my routine lessons l loved lessons which was more related to physics than mathematics like mechanical mechanism, piping, welding, hydrolic systems, turbo machines, heat transfer & ... but for example i didnt like the lesson numerical calculation very much.
