As a Partnerships Coordinator at the Jordan Water Efficiency and Conservation Activity (WEC), funded by USAID/Jordan and implemented by Tetra Tech ARD, I'm playing a pivotal role in advancing water use efficiency and conservation in Jordan's industrial sector.
Key Responsibilities and Achievements:
1. Identifying Strategic Partnerships: Responsible for identifying and assessing potential partnerships with suppliers of water conservation technologies.
2. Strengthening the Supply Chain: Identified and worked with various actors in the supply chain to enhance the delivery of WST solutions.
3. Promoting Financial Benefits: Promoting commercial models that showcased the financial benefits of adopting specific water conservation technologies to industrial and commercial enterprises.

Green Infrastructure Project:

The Green Infrastructure aims to improve 5 public spaces in east Amman by hiring 266 workers in 8 rotations, with each rotation lasting 80 working days. The project span is 3.5 years. The project includes the rehabilitation of 4 public parks and the construction of 1 public stairway.

Duties and responsibilities:

As a Project Manager, my main role in the Green Infrastructure project oversees and manage the rehabilitation of 5 public spaces in east Amman, ensuring the project within time, budget, in addition to the following responsibilities:
- Managing 9 project staff including 3 engineers, 3 supervisors, a senior site mobilizer, and 2 drivers.
- Following the design process, obtaining all required approvals from GAM and GIZ also developing bi-monthly reports and a final implementation report in cooperation with the PD department.
- Creating all necessary materials and tools specifications, developing consultant/contractor TORs, and managing the procurement process with the logistics department.
- Coordinating with local authorities and stakeholders to ensure the project follows regulations and meets the needs of the community.
- Maintaining clear and effective communication with project stakeholders, including the workers and local authorities.

WASH program for Syrian refugees and host communities.
Over the span of two years, the project provided Jordanian communities hosting Syrian refugees with improved WASH infrastructure and facilities at the community, institutional, and household level.


Duties and responsibilities:

As a Civil Engineer, my main role in the project was to oversee and manage the rehabilitation of the school's water sanitation units in Mafraq, installing new network pipes (ductile and polyethylene) in Jarash and Irbid, in addition to the following responsibilities:
- Review the design drawings and create a Bill of Quantities for the project implementation.
- Calculate all materials and tools required for the implementation and check the contractor payments.
- Ensure that all works follows requirements and in line with the contract specifications within the contract period.
- Complete all the needed assessments for the proposed project and prepare all drawings and specifications also
- support other team members in the scope of construction work.

Construction of Mahes Youth center (Ministry of youth). The main project aim was to construct a two floors governmental building in Mahes area for youth use, the scope of work includes all structural works and finishing works in addition to installing fire alarms, fire resistance, and security cams system.

- Estimation of the cost of items and follow up market price.
- Supervise the work at project sites on daily basis and updating of work plans.
-Prepare weekly and monthly reports detailing the progress of work and any challenges/ delays.
-Perform quantity calculation for all works items of the project and prepare all payment documents.

USAID Community Engagement Project (CEP)

The project focuses on enhancing community involvement in development efforts and empowering communities to take ownership of their own development process through the 5 years project span and use 50 million Doller, in 4 governorates (Irbid, Mafraq, Tafileh, Ma’an).

Duties and Responsibilities:


As a Field Engineer, my main responsibilities in the project follow the selected contractor to monitor the construction activities in the Tafelah Governorate, where we built a football field, a stormwater drainage system, two public parks, two public stairs, and renovated two youth centers and two schools, in addition to the following responsibilities:
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports detailing the progress of work and any challenges/ delays also supervise the work at project sites on daily basis and updating of work plans.
- Perform quantity calculation for the contractor according to the bill of quantities and change order.
Manage effective communication with contractors and all USAID CEP team members.
-Prepare an estimation of the cost of new items and conduct the necessary initial assessments and BOQs Preparation.

Community-Based Initiatives for Water Demand Management II

This project funded by USAID aimed at reducing water scarcity and improving water management practices in targeted communities. The program focuses on empowering communities to adopt sustainable water usage habits and engaging them in water management activities like rainwater harvesting in schools, households, and CBOs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Field Engineer, my main responsibilities in the project were following up with the selected contractor to monitor the construction of 241 Underground water harvesting tanks in Irbid and Mafraq Schools in addition to helping selected CBOs in using the fixed grate to construct Underground water harvesting tanks by hiring local contractors, in addition to the following responsibilities:
- Contributed and participated in the planning and implementation of the Project activities.
Inspected work sites and ensured that it is executed in accordance with approved specifications, drawings, and method statements.
- Assisted partner CBOs in the designated Governorates in the implementation procedures and systems outlined in the grants contracts and MC procedures including helping establish CBO projects Committees and evaluating proposed interventions and work plans.
- Conducted Assessment Visits to CBOs that have submitted a proposal and wrote a field visit report, provided support including on-the-job training, - supervision, and monitoring of CBO performance.
- Conducted frequent field visits to recipient CBOs, beneficiaries, and projects and compiled reports on such activities, reviewed shop drawings prior to submission.
