Work Responsibilities
• As a Central Maintenance Department Manager responsible to lead a team of engineers, supervisors and technicians for smooth and uninterrupted functioning of plants machinery and equipments with minimum downtime & lesser maintenance costs to achieve production targets.
• Responsible for maintenance of material preparation line with sawcut machine (KALTENBACH), CNC Multi spindle drilling line ( FICEP), Universal Steel worker (Omera), Drilling Machines. Plate Rolling Machine( DAVI), Pipe bending machine, CNC - Profile cutting machine ( FALCON ), CNC plate processor-Tipo.B.251, Ficep CNC punching and Drilling machines.
• To maintain fabrication line with auto and semi automatic welding machines ( Lincoln, Miller and ESAB), Studd welding machine, Tig welding, Plasma Cutting and Welding machines, submerged ARC Welding and FCAW and route pass welding machines ( Lincoln ).
• Responsible for assembly, erection and commissioning of EOT cranes ( up to 40 tons capacity ), Gantry Cranes, traveling and column mounted JIB Cranes.
• Responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of EOT Cranes, traveling and pillar JIB Cranes and various electric hoists.
• Responsible for repair, selection and application of all types of Lifting tackles like alloy steel chain slings, wire rope slings, steel wire ropes for cranes slings, Dee shackles, eye hooks, oblong links, thimbles and ferrules.
• To maintain utility equipments like air compressors ( Screw type up to 127 KW Atlas Copco & Ingersoll Rand make ) including pipeline systems, air driers, auto drains and receiver tanks.
• To maintain Air blasting machines(B.V.airblast-Holland) include raclomatic conveyors, belt conveyors, bucket elevators, scroll conveyors, blasting pots, dust collective system and painting units ( Graco & B.V. Air Blast).
• Responsible for the maintenance of grating production line (Kookjae, Korea ), Grating panels nipping and Saw cut machines, LVD Press brake & Shearing machine and cable tray machines.
• To maintain complete fleet of material handling equipments like Fork lifts(Hyster, Caterpillar), Trailor heads(prime movers Volvo& Renault), Trailor beds and mini trucks and transport vehicles - buses and pick-up’s with both petrol and diesel engines.
• Responsible for CMD personnel recruitment from abroad and Saudi trainees shop orientation programmes and as a faculty member of Human resource dept. taking technical classes, making shop visits to enrich them with technical skills & knowledge.
• Responsible for the requirement and implementation of ISO-9001-2000 in Maintenance Department and to ensure compliance of total quality management (TQM) procedures includes documentation.
• Responsible for maintaining industrial safety equipments like fire fighting pumps and water line system, fire extinguishers in critical locations, ensure to follow safety rules & regulations included personal protective equipment (PPE) for employees.
• Responsible for maintaining a galvanizing plant of 2000 tons capacity(week) includes acid bath, Flux bath, galv.kettle, burners, quenching and Di-chromatic bath with specialized EOT cranes operations for Zinc bath.
