• Managing WAN infrastructure ( design, implementation, upgrade, security)
• Experience in planning, deployment, testing and commissioning of network infrastructure projects.
• Liaise the day to day NOC and administration activities and assign work according to priority
• Manage and assist in the acceptance of new systems, the expansion of the existing services and evaluation of new equipment and systems.
• Responsible on backbone Connectivity, Up-streamers, BGP Management, IP planning & RIPE Database.
• Data Centre Management: electrical and mechanical systems in use in a data centre environment, including UPS systems, PDU units, cabling (copper - fibre)
• Vendor engagement for project requirements, Liaise with vendors and manage warranty claims and replacements.
• Approaching contractors, do budgeting and evaluation for any networking project.
• Develop and document procedures, best practices and user information relating to the systems the role supports.
• Working with different platforms including (but not exclusive to) - Cisco, Fortigate, Digitalk, Netenforcer, Bluecoat, Solarwind, etc.
• Tier three support Engineer for business customers and available on-call as needed.
• Preparing technical SOW, BOM, solutions description, designing delivery specifications.
• Prepare the technical road map for the business customer migration.
• Presales Engineering for technical meeting with sales prepare the BoM of the customer
• Work with Sales team to provide product, business and technical knowledge in support of pre sales activities.
• Assist in maintenance and monitoring of all Data Centre systems to include incidents/events, problems, changes, monitoring, problem escalation/notification/resolution and all other aspects of Data Centre.
• Install and commission new equipment and perform hardware and software upgrades ensuring minimum impact on services.
• Responsible to follow up all the Business-related support requests coming from the Business customers and steer them through the right process.
• Categorise customer’s tickets and assign it to the in charge party.
• Investigate and diagnose the source of problems & sort it out.
• Follow up with customers to guarantee Customer’s satisfaction and obtain service acceptance.
• Supporting wireless team during their IP configuration and troubleshooting.
• Support, proactively manage and monitor VOIP services such as ASR, ACD based on the traffic pattern of carrier and Route Quality
• Liaise with Voice upstream carriers to ensure efficient operation on Voice Network
• Installation, assembling and troubleshooting of workstations and laptops.( hardware & software)
• Management, administration and support of LAN Infrastructure ( voice & data)
• Have a thorough working knowledge on ADSL, Leased Line, Wireless Point2Point, wireless multipoint provisioning and troubleshooting
• Maintaining the wireless network infrastructure to ensure operability and customer satisfaction
• Site Acquisition, Supervise field Installation, quality assurance and Link Commission
• Troubleshoots problems with radio frequency (RF) links, IP network issues, backhaul
• Prepare proactive & preventive maintenance process.
• Responsible for end-2-end project execution of Wireless network Installations, expansions, upgrades, operational
• Testing wireless Equipments, freeband & Licensed
• Conducting site survey, cabling, pole design & LOS.
• Indoor APs and out door wireless design.
