I was responsible for
• Identifying and assess communities and community groups to be targeted by the
project.
• Conduct awareness raising sessions with males in the community to
disseminate information about women community centers and available services.
• Develop and strengthen ties with community targeted by the project.
• Represent the project at the community level and maintain regular contact with the community focal points to be ensured a constant flow of information andfeedback in both directions.
• Develop capacity buildings plans for community focal points and stakeholders to provide them with critical skills around safety assessments, communications and leadership.
• Strengthen existing and develop new stake holders groups to support ongoing implementation and sustainability.
• Gather feedback at the community level regarding activities and services
provision and share information with the senior serviced delivery officers and
senior information and communication.
• Identify and engaged key “gatekeepers” influencers and opinion leaders within the community to ensure access and promote participation of the community in activities.
• Gulvanize and sustain support for women’s community centers from community members and partners.
• Worked closely with Education and Information team and information to understand the needs in terms of information dissemination, as well as what is safe in the
Context of this program.
• Organize and co-facilitate trainings of community focal points and community
groups.
• Carry out focus group discussion, safety assessments and community mapping
exercises to identify specific risks faced by women and girls within their
community and ways to mitigate them.
• Support focal points and other community members in developing advocacy
messages and strategies to address and or mitigate risks face by women and
girls.
• Facilitate referral of identified needs to humanitarian organization and other
services providers, ensuring follow up and feed back to the community.
• Document all outreach and community mobilization activities in a timely and
accurate manner using agreed tools.
• Prepare weekly field reports for the program manager to highlight key protection
and safety concerns affecting women.
• Assist with formal data gathering for planning purpose and for participatory
monitoring and evaluation.
• Participatory in workshops, meetings and work planning.
• Undertake other duties as assigned by the supervisors
I was responsible to:
• Train, monitor and support Polio team to ensure effective polio campaign
• Collecting Data of Refuse families after completion of Polio Campaign
• Performing interpersonal communication and concealing with families having children, vulnerable to polio
• Identify and seeking support from influencial persons in convincing resistance family to get child immunized.
• Strengthen relation with core group of influencers
• Conduct awareness raising sessions in hujras and school to change the negative perception of community regarding Polio and other immunization vaccine.
• Conducting a complete survey of High Risk Areas in the assigned areas.
• Supporting the Government Health Department, WHO and other health organization in the assigned area.
