Achievements:
➢ Implementation of SAP core modules comprised of FICO, MM, PP, SD, PM AND QM, in record time of six months for a large Manufacturing Company. (SAP ECC 6.0 Implementation Project)
➢ Vendor evaluation for SAP implementation and negotiated software terms and implementation cost at very attractive terms with the vendor
➢ Negotiated various financing arrangements at very attractive terms. ( reduction in cost of financing for both short term and long term financing)
➢ Review of agreements and negotiation of terms with multinational customers such as P&G, Reckitt, Novartis, Johnsons & Johnsons, Bayer, Pfizer and Merck)
➢ Brought efficiency in preparation and finalization of monthly financial statements and report to higher management on 3rd of every month

Detailed Responsibilities:
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives (Management Committee members) and department owners so as to identify their needs and seek full range of business solutions.
• Regular monitoring and evaluation of the internal controls organisation wide.
• Ensure credibility of Finance function by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts.
• Reviewed business insurance coverage, identified key missing element, obtained appropriate coverage and consolidated coverage.
• Managing a large finance team including financial reporting, payable function, receivable function, treasury and ERP (SAP ECC 6.0) functionality
• Controlling: Monitoring of overall position of costs, operations & processes of the Company while ensuring maximum possible operational efficiency.
• Actively involved in management of optimum capital structure, cash flow planning and arrangement of liquidity. Dealing with financial institutions to cater the needs of the Company relating project financing (long term) and routine working capital requirement (short term financing).
• Review of existing products profitability and segment profitability the contribution and new launches
• Review of financial models for different business projects and acquisitions of the Company
• Active role to closely monitor and coordinate with the supply chain finance function to ensure smooth operations
• Actively involved in review and finalisation of master budget
SAP ECC 6.0 Implementation Project:
Apart from the routine responsibilities I worked as Project Coordinator - PMO and Power User - FICO for the implementation of SAP ECC 6.0:
a. Role as project Coordinator for PMO

d. Review of impact of TOBE process for integration
e. Integration of CO and PP module for product costing structure, analysing of different system req.
f. Re-designing of chart of accounts, cost center hierarchy, profit center hierarchy as per mgnt reporting requirement
g. Implementation of material ledgers - SAP speciality for actualised cost on product
h. Review of the BOM structure in legacy and its complete transformation into SAP, defining of routing and verification with the QA and technical team
i. Defining of control mechanism through release strategy in SAP to update the BOM and approval mechanism due to changes
j. Fund management - defining of fund center hierarchy, implementation of release strategy and its reporting
k. COPA reporting - designing of COPA reports, defining of allocation cycles after agreement with the respective management for different brands and categories (profit centers)
