Lead Electrical Engineer (Electrical section Head)

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Handling and Provide technical assistance to all electrical Staff.
• Manage all Electrical staff (Electrical field engineers and Technical office team).
• Monitoring all electrical execution work for royal commissioning projects including (MV networks, substation, Switch gear, transformers, RMU, ATS, LV networks, Street lighting networks, traffic signal, telecom network, FOC, instrumentation, RTUS and pump station).
• Monitoring all electrical execution work for Saudi Aramco projects including (modification of Existing OHTL 69KVand 13.8KV, solar lighting system for road lighting, mechanical protection for existing FOC, cathodic protection and duct banks for electrical and telecom networks .
• Manage and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Attend all meeting & submit reports and recommends solutions to close all electrical issues..
• Co-ordinate with SAPMT/SAPOD regarding modification of OHTL(69KV, 33KV, 13.8KV) and recommend new solution to carry out the work.
• Follow up with RC till obtaining the approval for all submittal (material submittal, Shop drawing, Technical Query).
• Co-ordinate with SEC regarding modification of OHTL33KV for SA projects and distribution networks (34.5KV, 33KV, 13.8KV and LV) for RC projects till obtaining all approval.
• Review/Prepare all method statement, work procedure and work plan for SA projects.
•Preparation of Material Submittal according to the contract documents& as per the standard
• Procurement of all electrical materials as per the site requirements and as per time schedule.
• provide supplier with all technical information, drawing, all requirement from government agencies ministries, consultant requirement, comply with specification according to our contract in order to obtaining the approval for all technical submittals.
• collect quotations from suppliers according to project specifications.
• Determine scope of work and B.O.Q for subcontractors &handling the price of each item According to budget cost.
•reviewing all material requisition.
•Reviewing all subcontractor invoices.
• coordinate with other department (Civil-Mechanical- Architecture).
•Study new projects /implement all take off quantity along with technical reports and provide technical support to Estimation team to estimate the budget prices for electrical items.
