Head of Engineering for Yahsat Milsatcom Ground System
• Providing the necessary planning and design documentation required for technology deployment and testing, including Low Level Design (LLD), Network Implementation Plan (NIP), acceptance tests, network design validation, software strategies, Monitor network stability, provisioning services in Data Center, Smartworld Services Network Design.
• Played a vital role in Al Maktoom International Airport Core Network deployment, Dubai.
• Played a vital role in launching Smartworld, the local operator in Dubai World Central by building up the Core IP/MPLS network, Dubai.
• Played a vital role in integrating Smartworld IP/MPLS network with Etisalat network in order to provide Etisalat services to Dubai World Central customers distributing over a 140 sq km area via Open Equal Access Network.
• Participated in the Design & Implementation of Open Equal Access Network (OEAN) for Dubai world Central a 140 sq km area in Jebel Ali, Dubai
• Install, operate, commissions, maintains and tests Communication and ICT equipment in the Smartworld Network Operations Center
• Responding to Incidents automatically generated from the HP Service Assurance Layer, and undertaking remedial activities to resolve the incident in accordance with the Internal and Contracted SLA’s
• Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including System Checks, Backup Tape Rotation, and Preventative Maintenance activities
• Execute Change and Service Requests in accordance with an authorized approval to implement services on behalf of Smartworld Customers
• Apply software patches and security updates in accordance with Smartworld release policies.
• Support remote Field Service Engineers when required for either troubleshooting incidents or provision of knowledge in order for successful completion of work activity
• Maintain the high standards of the Date Center, and comply with all Data Center Policies and Procedures
• Observation of Health & Safety practice in the work place.
• Graduated from Cisco systems Global Talent Acceleration Program that held in Estarta solutions Amman-Jordan, which it is a one year program divided into three phases:
1. Phase one: Training courses containing technical courses like CCNA, CCNP, and CCIE. And soft skills courses like presentation skills, advanced communication skills, problem solving skills and technical instruction skills..
2. phase two: TAC rotation, moving to Cisco Technical Assistant Center in India to work as regular TAC engineer to get the work experience and develop the problem solving, customer interaction and customer satisfaction.
3. Phase three: On Job Training (OJT), moving to Cisco systems office in Dubai to work on a live projects, Interaction with the customers, and understanding the various phases of the projects, in this period I attended different workshops handled by senior Cisco engineers.
• Developing the necessary planning and design documentation required for solution deployment and testing, including Low Level Design (LLD), Network Implementation Plan (NIP), Network Ready for Use (NRFU), and Network Migration Plan (NMP), Responsible for network design validation, proof-of-concept testing, network auditing/sizing, pre-staging, pre-configuration, technical aspects of deployment planning and acceptance of Cisco products, network consultation services to some of the large enterprises and services providers.Reviewing customers network designs, providing technical expertise and consultation, acting as a subject matter expert in multiple network technologies, strong focus on all popular networking protocols, providing a Reactive and proactive assistance with network design, technology validation, implementation strategies, software strategies, defect/security notifications and Assisting Customers and partners in working towards Cisco’s best practices.
