In order to improve the tourism infrastructure of the state of Kuwait, the project was aimed to
establish a tourist facility and a multi-service commercial complex with a luxurious service
level.
The project consists of one high rise tower of 40 floors and a huge trading center.
As a contractor for the finishing works, my role was to run the project in a professional way by
using management techniques to ensure timely execution of project schedule according to
project plans and within applicable specifications and requirements and within the allocated
budget. I was responsible for engaging and interacting with project stakeholders i.e. Client,
Consultants, Authorities, Subcontractors and vendors, internal stakeholders, including planning
dept, procurement dept, HSE dept, accounts payable dep….etc.
Despite of receiving the project in two months delay from the original project plan, which was
one of the most challenging situation in the project, I was able to catchup and bring the project
to schedule base line, by challenging and collaborating with the client and assigned consultant
to approve the rejected shop drawings and proceed with execution implementing the reformed
project schedule without affecting the project budget.
Within this rule and through out the weekly meetings with the clients, consultants and internal
stakeholder I was able to maintain the project progress as per planned and within contractual
obligations.
Quality checks through installation process is very important to make sure that every phase in
the project is delivered without any defects or lack of quality.
In addition to the above, I was responsible for approving subcontractors submitted monthly
completion certificates within applicable quality standards and authorize payment as per
contracts agreed payment terms.
All these tasks are being monitored and controlled under my supervision in order to achieve
the best quality of the deliverables.

The project aims to build the Administration & Facilities (ADFA) buildings for university of
Kuwait one of the largest universities campuses in the world.
As a contractor responsible for finishing works for 2 facility buildings my role was to run the
project in a professional way using management techniques to execute the work within the
schedule achieving high quality standards and regulations.
Also collaborating with other teams and aligning with other projects that serves the same
strategic objectives without affecting baseline.

I’m responsible for leading the team and engaging the stakeholders, following a
communication management plan and keeping stakeholders updated to any changes in the
schedule to avoid any time or cost loss.
Also one of my responsibilities is to manage the requirements and the scope of work, contacting
vendors and suppliers for the materials needed through the project lifetime and managing the
purchasing process to make sure the project is following quality standards and deliverables are
checked and verified in order to get the final acceptance from stakeholders.

The project involves construction of Burj Al-shaya Tower and Four Seasons hotel tower,
Located on al-sour street in kuwait city . construction of twin towers comprising a commercial
tower of 45 floors, as well as a hotel tower of 25 floors, both towers connected by 4 podium
levels.
My project objective was to carry out the interior finishing works for the hotel tower.
My role : As a site engineer i managed the whole project from kickoff until we handed off the
finishing works to client .
Responsibilities /Deliverables : I developed the charter and WBS and obtained approval from
key stakeholders .
- prepared the project plan and work breakdown structure while considering time, cost and
quality.
- I produced workshop drawings and technical office support.
- I coordinated the execution of finishing works .
- Monitored the project timeline, ensuring all milestones were being achieved on schedule.
- obtained acceptance for project deliverables and archived project documents and materials
using generally accepted practices to comply with statutory requirements.
