Livelihood Sector Manager
The sector proposes to contribute to the economic self-reliance, resilience and social stability of displacement-affected populations in Jordan, projects aims to support bottom-up and locally owned solutions to the economic and social challenges faced in refugee hosting communities. In order to recover from and adapt to the shifting consequences that the Syrian crisis has imposed on local communities and economies, it is imperative that local actors and institutions develop and work toward a common vision of inclusive local economic and social development. Nascent local governments, communities and civil society organizations face the daily, frontline realities of the displacement crisis and many show increasing openness to engage with the Syrian refugee population and fill policy-to-practice gaps at the local level. Local businesses, enterprising individuals as well as prospective investors in the private sector have a central role in contributing to the critical evaluation of local economic environments and promoting improvements in local market systems to benefit Syrians and Jordanians, men and women alike.

- Take on the Team Leader’s role and responsibilities during his absence.
- Working with Citizen-Government Team Leader to manage, coordinate, guide and support the project implementation.
- Working with targeted communities and their respective civil society organizations and actors as well as their local government.
- Regular interaction with municipalities and civil society in targeted areas for project management, oversight, implementation, and delivery of technical assistance.
- Directly manage technical staff involved in this project.
- provide administrative and technical leadership and advocacy on all designed interventions,
- manage and appropriately allocate Project resources,
- Ensure project outputs and results are documented, disseminated and used to modify Project approaches

• Oversee all Environment and Sustainability-related activities.

• Responsible for coordinating with consortium partners, local communities, beneficiaries and government institutions needed for the success of this project.
- Plan, lead and supervise community mobilization activities in line with project document /objectives and criteria.
- Ensure the quality of work.
- Developing and participating in proposals writing for new projects to respond to the Syria crises.
- Developing and contributing in the design of several projects and programs content to response to the Syrian refugees, and Jordanian beneficiaries needs related to education and protection needs as emergency and development response.
- Strengthen, improve and maintain the relationships with partners, new and existing community stakeholders to establish a suitable environment in order to facilitate implementation of Save the Children Programs.
- Lead, Facilitate, arrange and present during civil society meetings, training, committees and awareness campaign to encourage discussions for the formation of community advocacy
- Support our members of civil societies (partners, CBOs and communities) with appropriate capacity building training to improve their work and the quality of the work.
- Lead and supervise Implementation and monitoring of different projects.
- Lead and enhance the performance of staff. and dresses the employee’s ability to effectively motivate,
- Improve the process of refer child protection issues, and ensure easy access to services by the beneficiaries.
- Support the delivery of effective Programs, in both development and humanitarian contexts.
- Support field staff in the timely implementation of activities at field level.
- Provide overall supervision to all activities implemented in the CFSs in area of operation.
- Supervise and support all the Field Coordinators and Field Assistant in the area of operation, through facilitation of, and advising on implementation of, different interventions in CFS.
- Monitor and evaluate the implementation of activities inside the CFS to ensure they are completed according to plan and in a timely and effective manner, giving particular attention to quality aspects.
- Working closely with PQD staff in order to ensure the quality of the program activities.
- Worked closely in coordination with the field coordination and logistic team to ensure all purchase and supply requests related to the activities implemented in the CFS are done on time and according to SCI procedures
- Documenting in a timely manner, all progress challenges, and learning for future implementation
- Led assessment in the operational area for all the interventions/Thematic area in CFS.
- Conducted regular field visits to CFSs to verify quality /progress of all projects interventions and to provide operational and technical guidance and advice.
- Monitor budget / expenditure and report variances to the Central/South and North field offices in a timely manner for proper planning, reporting and adjustment.
- Assist in the preparation of work plans, reports and other project or management materials
- Participated in the humanitarian response led by SCI in all operational and thematic areas.
Participate in planning all ECE activities.
2. Regularly visit school sites to coordinate and monitor the implementation of the activities in schools on time and to high quality
3. Provide on going mentoring and coaching for school and directorate staff.
4. Regularly report on schools and directorates work progress.
5. Build and support directors and schools capacity in mobilizing local communities to provide resources and opportunities.
6. Work closely with the local directorates of education to ensure active participation and follow up on schools performance.
7. Organize all related events including workshops and meetings ensuring that participants are informed event package are prepared and all logistics are organized

9. Auditing procedures for kindergartens within the program within the quality assurance system .
To recruit, orient and supervise program volunteers ensuring that they are integrated within SC systems and are supported to achieve their specified objectives
To support all partnership processes including identification of potential partnerships participation in the assessment process documentation and organized maintenance of all partnership record .
To support and supervise volunteers to conduct an effective child recruitment and enrolment process that leads to increased enrolment of Iraqi children in the program’s kindergartens.
To support processes for mobilizing parents and communities to actively participate in their children’s learning and development.
To support the process for mobilizing and coordinating workshops and training for volunteers, community groups and parents.
Organize community events at the KGs and other events for the volunteers, NGO leaders, and teachers of the different KGs
