Managing and supervision operation processes, shut down, start up for units in efficient manner, safety, profitable and committing with environmental regulations.
• Lead engineers and supervise at their activities.
• participate in short and long term planning concerning shut down, revamp, , .
• writing daily instructions for engineers.
• participate in meeting concerning the units.
• follow up and revising unit's performance, chemicals and energy consumption, unit variables analysis and optimize conditions for best operations.
• Energy and mass balance.
• prepare monthly and quarter reports.
• Coordinate with process development to improve operation level, best utilize the units and systems and study any troubleshooting concerning production processes.
• handling units for maintenance.
• lead trouble in units and keep safety priority.
• Tenders studying for new projects (INSTALLING NEW AUTOMATIC BACKWASH FILTER IN N.H.T UNIT, UPGRADING AND MODERNIZATION OF BOILERS no. B7001 AND B7002 CONTROL SYSTEMS, , , , ).
• Participation in Operation engineer and operators interviews for employment for many times.

Responsibilities: Managing all refinery activities and coordination with top management -if needed- during afternoon and night shifts, and working as section head in morning shift .

• Following up and control production processes according to lab results and minimum risk and cost.
• in site rounds during the shift .
• Leading all units troubleshooting and emergency.
• employee evaluation and official reports writing.
• dealing with customers and facilitate their affairs - if possible- .

Responsibilities:
Assist shift control in supervision and controlling production process and produce products within requested standards in minimum cost and safe operation.
• Team management: supervising at their activities, training.
• Coordination daily work permits in coordination with section head and other departments.
• Unit mass & energy balances.
• Daily unit optimization, Troubleshooting and operations technical support .
• Catalyst and chemicals performance control for process units.
• Participation in unit maintenance activities .
• Catalyst regeneration, screening, filling and dumping.
• receive daily instructions and apply them.
• following up units parameters and alb results.
• Carried out training course for new operation staff (theoretical and practical) about most of the refinery units, equipment and fundamentals.
• carried out chemical treatment for boilers with INCHEM Company.
• I've been transferred among all operation units including :
Hydrocarbons units : Topping, Naphtha hydro treating, Gasoline plat forming, L.P.G- recovery, Vacuum distillation, F.C.C, Tank farm and sphere tanks, Asphalt, Chemical treatment (L.P.G-amine, F.C.C-gasoline& L.S.R.G treatment, Kerosene-Merox).
Utilities units: Steam generation boilers, API-separator, Cooling water, Fuel oil supply, Air (refinery & instrument), water treatment (R.O, Ion exchange).
