Mr. Baraka possesses 15 years of experience with major/international contractors Design and Built Projects (SBG & DBB Jv CCC) in various fields of Technical Office Management covering Healthcare, Residential, Hotels, High‐rise, Instructional, Shopping Malls and Security Projects. He has advanced in a
step‐by‐step manner up to the senior managerial positions of Technical Manager and Technical Chief Coordinator and carried out dynamic tasks throughout the project life cycle (starting from Site Grading up to Project Closeout) with various areas of expertise as follows:
- Overall responsibility for implementation of Design Development Processes
and procedures during the execution of the multi‐disciplines
- Manage the activities ensuring compliance with delivery plans
- Ongoing & active liaison with the Sr. Projects Manager and Project Managers / Engineers
to identify and resolve delivery issues and safeguard the interest of the projects
- Manage delivery from the design Center in line with the projects’ strategies
- Participate in required technical input to enquiries to support the Bid Preparation process
- Coordinate the technical requirements to prepare input to Technical Proposal
and Cost Estimates in Case of Claims/Variations
- Provide information to the Project Controls team such that they
can maintain an integrated planning schedule of ongoing projects
- Ensure that all engineering work products are technically assured
through a managed process for design stages
- Engaging with Clients to promote Design Engineering capability
- Design and SHD review for All Phases after a‐thorough evaluation
of space Program and components requirements
- Working close to the Medical Planner and familiar with Medical Space Programs
- Manage and coordinate all Design Engineering resources, executing engineering projects
- Review reports and specification submitted by the Design Consultant(s) at each stage of the Design
to ensure completeness, correctness and compliance with the scope of work and Contract
Documents requirements
- Able to Manage All Functional Departments (Skin, Procurement and Contract Departments)
- Strong field and office experience in supervising, quality and Shop Drawings S/C's management
- Able to Manage All Specialists Designer’s (ID, Kitchens, Elevators, Steel, RO and STP etc…)
- Proven expertise in follow up and chase non‐solved issues until closing
- Full Support of Site Technical Issues
- Able to Manage Site conditions and Design of Mobilization
