-Maintain required standards in foods safety, quality & other relevant systems through identifying product performance and food safety risks.
-Develop a system for selection and evaluation of suppliers and maintain the approved suppliers list for all products and materials.
-Fully Responsible for developing the Food Safety System and all Quality aspects in (Factories, Stores & Suppliers) in order to comply with global food safety requirements and minimize all risks of food safety issues to assure continues business & build trust to all our customers / consumers.
-Work closely with R & D for NPD to ensure product developments are executed with consistent quality and food safety that will ensure a successful launching.
-Anticipate with regulatory affairs for new or modifies acceptance formulas of products and materials.
-Manage the internal, external, customer and suppliers’ audits to drive to close risks according to the agreed schedule to ensure compliance with the global guidelines.
-Drive corrective action plans and close out of product non-conformance with suppliers.
-Ensure all products are safe applying the improvement systems as defined by the specifications and QAPs.
-Conduct regular meetings with key stakeholders and Heads to monitor trends and anticipate changes.
-Handle customer complaints, using PDCA approach for investigation of complaints & internal NCs.
-Develop & implement training plan for all relevant staff on the current quality and FSMS.
-Develop KPIs for related Departments in consultation with managers and generate reports on regular basis.
-Manage proactive system with the customers to decrease no. of complaints.
-Develop annual quality management review and present it to top management of the organization.
-Focus on the projects that lead to cost reduction e.g. customization of utilities costs & NCs.
-Identify, manage, and follow up all continuous improvement programs triggered via customer/ consumer complaints, non-compliances, management review, internal audits, effective communication, and develop plans to address the risk.
-Establish, implement & maintain Food safety & Quality Management Systems (ISO22000, FSSC, BRC, ISO 9001 & any other relevant systems), via establishment and maintaining of relevant policies, procedures, WI & formats.
-Develop Food Safety and Quality plans and follow its implementation with all relevant departmental functions.
-Establish, manage, and implement continuous improvement systems e.g. lean manufacturing, six sigma & 5S).
-Develop & follow up implementation of the engrained quality elements e.g. food safety and quality rules, food safety and quality champion network, quality award, food safety & quality training plans, quality visual communication tools, …etc.
-Generate regular reports to demonstrate the performance of Quality & FSMS including internal & external NCs.
