- Working on experimental investigation to develop and test a prototype gas turbine power cycle with minimum emissions from hybrid-fuel supplies produced from renewable resources project. The project is funded by ERAfrica through a consortium comprising several international universities. Prepare and maintain Small Scale Gas Turbine Unit which includes (Centrifugal compressor, Two centrifugal gas turbines, Fuel pump, Oil pump and Combustion chamber). Communicate with testing instruments' companies to get suitable equipment upon determined specifications. Coordinate between "Two stage Vane Compressor research group" and "Hydrogen Injection research group". Collect and record all experiments data. Create a data management system. Generate weekly report about project progress.
- Studying tenders and preparing all the technical and financial proposals. Provide and gather all the required technical documents such as drawings, manuals and submittals for site testing team. Coordinate with site testing team to receive needed documents in a timely manner according to the project work schedule. Produce the final technical reports for customers.
-Learn and develop sustainable energy knowledge.
- Collaborate in the World Bank’s project "Data gathering for Middle East & North Africa Electricity Utilities Database".
- Work closely with leading technical experts from the region.
- Research about electricity utilities in the MENA region to obtain further information.
- Interact with diversified cultures and experiences.

ACES (The Annual Conference For Engineering Student) came to life as the first student activity in Faculty of Engineering, ASU and all governmental universities in 2005. ACES become more than just student activity with its yearly successfully conference providing a real life simulation to many of challenges and experience that face any professional organization.
