Roles & Responsibilities:
• Member of Emergency Intervention Team (EIT) - leading offshore operations from control room according to the Emergency response procedure.
• Responsible for gas & condensate production profiles and conducting investigations to minimize production losses.
• Organizing, optimizing and following up for chemical injection for wells to control hydrate, corrosion and scale depositions.
• Verify applying PTW system for non-routine activities and assuring its alignment with HSE policy.
• Developing well integrity test & HIPPS function test plan in collaboration with planning, maintenance and drilling teams.
• Developing wells testing plan in collaboration with reservoir team.
• Developing valve operation procedure for switching wells on sealines with the assistance of ROV.
• Supervising creation and assessment of mechanical isolation certificates (LOTO), and ensuring compliance with HSE standards and PTW policies during the execution of isolation procedures.
• Participate in Engineering studies alongside technical team to resolve technical problems related to production and flow assurance for the longest subsea lines in the middle east 220 km each for 4 sea lines have the same length with various diameters (14", 26", Old 30" & new 30").
• Following up DCS and field operations, noting any deviations, and following creating notifications for the maintenance team in alignment with the Maintenance Management System.
• Responsible for analyzing and reporting key performance indicators (KPI), and providing operational technical support for production optimization.
• Collaborating with Maintenance and planning to prepare the shutdown plan including time frame to minimize the downtime.
• Collaborating with Maintenance & Project teams to follow up commissioning phase and start-up activities for new wells or units and participate in handover operation as production representative.
• Preparing the related Pre-Start-up Safety Reviews (PSSR) and operating procedures with following up.
• Ensuring compliance with process safety procedures, including overrides management, mechanical isolation certificates, alarm management system, relief system and executing operating procedures to maintain equipment integrity and safety standards.
• Participating in internal audits for ofshore platform and prepare the report that include recommended corrective actions.
• Ensuring adherence to international and regional engineering standards, environment regulations & company policies by conducting deep analysis of system performance and implementing energy-saving solutions.
• Participating in internal audits and prepare the report that include recommended corrective actions.
• Participating in preparing the annual budget related to ofshore production facilities.
• Evaluating vendor/contractor action plans for their activities, ensuring adherence to quality/HSE standards and facilitating timely task completion.
• Motivating and empowering operations team to fulfill their duties efectively to enhance both process safety and production eficiency.
• Providing technical class room courses and on job training for technicians and engineers in Zohr plant with assessment.
• Sharing and participating in HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA and technical safety studies with following up recommendations and actions close out for all project units.
