Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a team of eight highly skilled Mechanical Engineers with specialties in wide range of mechanical engineering service.
• Currently working in field of the material handling solutions this be providing the mechanical design and system layouts with operational considerations and the order entry for the hardware system.
• Also identifies and resolves more complex problems and applies problem solving skills in order to deal with most situations
• To ensure that my team utilization meet our department year target
• Supporting the business development team in creating list of services of our new customers
• Taking a new technical task as solution development project lead for a new customer to deliver a system solution for a material handling system.
• Utilize standard engineering principles to resolve difficult problems, from concept to final design
• Collaborate with key project & solution team stakeholders by hosting design & technical reviews.
• Lead concept development and maintain accountability for results & deliverables
• Communicate solutions through internal and external presentations
• Devise new approaches to complex problems through adaptations and modifications of standard technical principles
• Preempt potential problems and provide effective solutions in reaction to application of concepts, techniques, knowledge, or processes
• Develop, design or create new applications, ideas, relationships, systems or products, including artistic contributions
• Keep up-to-date technically and apply new knowledge to the job


Key Achievements:

• Working with AutoCAD 2D/3D to develop material handling solutions, including mechanical design and machine control, with a good understanding of warehouse control software and operational considerations.
• Completing system layouts using AutoCAD 2D/3D and specifying appropriate equipment.
• Studying and applying the mechanical aspects of an Integrated System.
• Developing knowledge of the project specifications and checks all work being performed for performance to these specifications.
• Providing material list of equipment, description of operation, and pricing
• Working in quoting a material handling system on 10 million$ project
• Supporting of systems’ commissioning and acceptance.
• Meet the due date and work quality of my team by reviewing the work progress and quality, to meet our customer satisfaction.
• Meet the Department monthly utilization target, for my team by taking responsibility & implementing strategic action in managing team's vacations, idle hrs. trainings, and internal activities.
• Working as project coordinator by conducting a daily road block meeting with the whole staff working in project Engineers and installers to check the daily progress and solving any road block. And meeting with customer insure to solve all problem during the run-in and teach their maintenance team how to fix any damaged equipment in the system.
• As project coordinator I was responsible to work with Rialto city inspectors to provide the inspector all documents need that prove that all our installation phases were correct, and our system was built accordingly to city safety instruction.

• Studying and applying the mechanical aspects of an Integrated System.
• Developing knowledge of the project specifications and checks all work being performed for performance to these specifications.
• Providing material list of equipment, description of operation, and pricing
• Supporting of systems’ commissioning to insure all installation phase as designed and delivering the entire system to meet customer satisfaction.

• Wal-Mart warehouse in Jacksonville, FL (Working as Mechanical commissioning engineer to insure all installation phase as designed and delivered the entire system to meet customer satisfaction). From 12/15/2014 to 12/30/2014
• FedEx Ground programs in 10 different cities in USA (Working as mechanical design engineer to create all system layouts that will provide the smartest solution for our customer) from 01/01/2015 to 07/01/2015.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager and supporting the Production Engineering Department, the position of Mechanical Design Engineer holds responsibility for the product design, industrial Research and Development, counseling and training services for the Egyptian industry.

Key Achievements:

• Product Design: working from initial evaluation of theoretical designs through to development stage, prototyping, testing and then release the product to the customer (sheet metal product, plastic product and furniture product).
• Creating assembly drawings, including bill of material and details drawings, for machining, assembly and welding.
• Industrial Research and Development: working in developing an industrial production lines and spare parts.
• Counseling the Bachelor project for the university's students.
• Training services: Giving training in Turning Sinumerik 840 shop Turn for (2-axis turning machine)

Production Engineering and Mechanical Design Engineer في United Brother for Fasteners Industry

Reporting to the operation Manager, participated in two positions the first production engineering for one year by holding the responsibility of the fasteners production lines, and then position of mechanical design engineer by taking the responsibility of product design and Research and Development.

Key Achievements:

• Responsible for the cold screw production line which produce steel screw from diameter 2.5mm to 5mm with length from 16mm to 70mm
• Responsible for the hot screw production line which produce steel screw from diameter 16mm to 30mm with length from 50mm to 500mm
• Participate in designing and drafting assembly drawings for spare parts for the machinery for the factory.
• Participate in researching and developing new methods of production for a production optimization.
• Participate in installation and mange new production line (hot rolling line produce flat bar, equal angle and square bar)
