“Senior Manager - Contracts & Tendering”
Duties:
- Responsible for following up on Contracts for all construction projects executed by the construction and facility management department in terms of timelines, quality of deliverables, pricing, technical specifications and safety assurance.
- Prepare tender documents including Instructions to Bidders, form of agreement, conditions of the contract.
- Estimate Quantities, unit rates and prices for the required resources and materials to perform different work activities.
- Develop bid-forms/proposal packages.
- Review and evaluate submitted bids and prepare tenders evaluation report along with recommendations to the client.
- Manage contract negotiations at tendering stage and ensuring the satisfactory compilation of contract data.
- Coordinate project planning and implementation, including assessing needs, setting goals and objectives.
- Participate in project budget planning and development.
- Establish Project work plan and schedules; monitor, review and evaluate progress.
- Prepare records of project activities; oversee and ensure the timely processing in and the delivery of required materials.
- Negotiate and Administrate subcontracts/ sub consultancy and service suppliers.
- Prepare/review/comment/Audit various claims (cost of disruption, time extension, etc.) and coordinate with the relevant project stakeholders.
- Review new contracts during tendering stage, prepare and present contract review report containing a summary for all contractual/commercial data with relevant significance (i.e. major schedule constraints, milestones, terms of payment, major liabilities and obligations….etc.)
- Issue contracts, Letters of intent, purchase orders ….etc.
- Communicates with the operation Department.
- Maintain communication with Main Contractor

- Judge Club site including Marine in Salmiya
(2/6/2013 to Present)
- Public Prosecution Headquarder

Duties:
-Reviewing tender documents and drawings.
-Revising Specifications and Materials.
-Supervise on site-work for “Judge Club site in Salmiya” according to specifications and requirements of contract documents .
-Review Planning & Scheduling Construction Projects
-Review Construction schedule “CPM” & Project Method Statement.
-Review Plan Manpower & Resources Histogram
-Review Material Submittal & Procurement Logs
-Review Daily & Monthly Reports
-Attending Coordination and Progress Meetings
-Follow up Site Works Progress
-Maintain Project Control System
-Review Contractual Project Payments as per Cost Analysis
-Studying and Revising of Reporting, VOS’, EOT & Claims

*Several Projects including Factories, Administrative Buildings & Mosques.

-Evaluation and Comparison of Prices Quotations
