Review contractor’s submittals such as shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, payment certificates, etc.
o Managing the installation and commissioning of all types of light fittings, electrical panel board, mechanical equipment panels (including AHU, FCU & Pumps, etc.), and the erection of cable trays, trucking & support, and cable laying.
o Ensure that the projects meet agreed specifications, budgets or timescales.
o Check and prepare site reports, designs and drawings, keen to problem solving, ordering and negotiating the price of materials and ensure site safety.
o Make recommendations and solutions to RFI, give assistance during site inspection, organize project schedules based on the target completion date and utilize strong interpersonal skills towards the contractors and clients.
o Administer the day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the labor force and the work of any subcontractors.
o Preparation of value engineering, materials submittals, materials sample, shop drawings, method statement of materials take off.
▪ Demonstrated a good experience in project planning and supervising the entire electrical project from preparing the road map, scoping, planning, and designing, scheduling and monitoring to ensure project accomplishment within defined time/cost parameters.
▪ Redesign the Electrical load as per the load available from authorities and the actual load required.
▪ Monitoring the electrical works for conformance with the provisions of the contract documents and the procedures manual.
▪ Serving as site representative in absence of MEP manager, for all matters related to construction of MEP works.
▪ Coordinating and supervising the installation work of electrical items.
▪ Assisting with the final inspection of the work and reviewing the adequacy and accuracy of punch lists.
▪ Monitoring and controlling the day to day activities of the electrical inspectors i.e. site work inspection as well as inspection of the materials delivered in Contractors store.
▪ Checking the contractors' As-built electrical drawings for adequacy.
▪ Review contractors' claims related to electrical works. Prepare recommendations for claims approval or rejection. Assist in negotiations with contractors regarding the value of claims or changes in schedules.
▪ Witness testing and commissioning of the works.
▪ Ensure the Contactor and sub-contractors meet their deliverables in terms of quality, content and timeliness, coordinate with others, estimate work, track work progress, interface with clients.
▪ Assist in the Management of the Contractor and subcontractors thru construction of the project through to handover.
To proactively lead and contribute to the success of the project Development, review and editing of site construction and progress reports.
• Ensuring that inspections are carried out in time and quality of installation and delivered materials is maintained as per the relevant specifications/ standards as well as relevant local Authority’s regulations/ requirements.
• Responsible for implementations and monitoring of all electrical related works at site as per approved drawings and methods and safety rules.
• Liaise with local authorities and ministerial agencies having jurisdiction over the project.
BSC Electrical Engineering Zagazig Excess knowledge in electrical power distribution in domestic and industrial fields, DC machines, induction machines, synchronous machines and Strong theoretical knowledge of electric power generation economy of power generation
