Working as systems developer in SCCT IT Dept., I'm resposible for analyzing, Designing, Developing, Documenting and maintaining software solutions that serves business needs.
My job involves supporting current systems as well as creating new systems, Mostly communicating with vendor systems already in place, such as Terminal Operations System, and IFS ERP system.
My day to day work utilizes several technologies, ADO.Net, GDI+, Win-Sockets, Office automation, and other .Net features using both C# and VB.Net.
Besides, I work as 2nd Mover for IFS (ERP) administrator, same involves 1st line support and basic database administration.
I'm also resposible for implementing and administering Electronic data interchange solutions between SCCT and its customers.
Planning vessel load/discharge operations.
Developing tailor made interactive multimedia applications & presentations.
