capacity of 220, 000 MT, exporting 40% of the company production to more than 70 markets worldwide (Far East,
MENA, Europe and USA).
The main task was to build a global business presence, identify the key markets, manage and control all sales activities
with consistent profitable growth.
ACHIEVEMENTS
Increased Sales volume 84% in 2016 & 100% achieved business plan FY2017-2019.
Opened 10 new markets & 68 new customers FY2016 - 2019.
Sold aged and slow moving SKUs, that reflect in reduce aged material stock level in 2017-2019 with 99%
compared to 2016.
Improve profitability 9% through proper managing pricing strategy and product mix; considering supply, demand
and competition in each market.
Successfully launch / introduce new profitable business (Pattern glass new designs) to the market in 2018 and
selling the line full capacity with 24 hours / 7 days a week production @ 91% production efficiency.
Manage logistics cost / ton (reduced by 10.62%); Managed more than 10% of business in special equipment’s 20”
OT & launched 40” HC new business.

Implemented Championed Branding & Retail presence campaigns in China & Hong Kong (12, 800 m2 retail
outlets), that Increased the size of business 70% in both markets.
Established strategic alliances with Key international competitors for them to become Asfour customers.

Invested in brand equity, changed Corporate identity, changed packaging, participated in key local & International fairs.
Kandil Glass, established 2003, with total production capacity 102, 300 TPY, supply high quality glass containers
(Bottles and Jars) packaging materials to FMCG food and beverage industries

Managed large market research project, offered detailed market insights (Qualitative & Quantitative) showing the
supply & the demand trend, current & future competition, price index, available opportunities; based on this
study we decided to build up our 1st furnace & 2
nd
expansion then the expansion to be the biggest glass container
factory in the Middle East with a capacity of 102, 300 TPY.
Opened eleven new markets and generated more than seventy new customers.
Introduced new glass designs (Bottles & Jars) that turn the company to market leader position.
