Position: Site Engineer
Responsible for: Coordinating and supervising all Mechanical building services.
• Day- to -day inspection / checking, H.V.A.C, Hot & Cold water system chilled water (CHW) system & drainage installation to ensure to that the work is in compliance with contract specification document & drawing.
• Check / inspect materials & equipment on site to ensure that the deliver materials & equipment is in compliance with the approval submittals & contract specification & free from defects.
• Coordination with mechanical contracts work does not clash to the Electrical services installations & other building structures. Approved testing procedure code of practices & applicable structures.
• Weekly walk about the mechanical contractors of each part of the services work for verification of progress.
• Attend / witness of mechanical conducted testing of H.V.A.C ducts, chilled water pipes drainage etc. to ensure that the test conducted by the contractors is in compliance with the Specification and Std.
• Material provision and material approvals from consultants. • Responsible for material approvals from consultants. • Responsible for all a/c related installations as per approved shop drawings. • Preparing Material procurement schedules.
