• Sampling of seawater or freshwater microalgae.
• The selection of microalgae genera for biodiesel production.
• Species identification using molecular techniques.
• Cultivation and harvesting of microalgae.

• Determination of properties of biodiesel produced in accordance with Standard EN14214 and its testing.
• Overseeing and scheduling QC lab daily activities.

• Sometimes handling HPLC.
• Write and execute new SOP and protocols.
• Validation of different methods of analysis.
• Maintain laboratory notebooks and follow cGMP documentation requirements.
