• Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the Enterprise Network of Etisalat IT, solving end user network related problems.
• Administer, configure & troubleshoot all network equipment, hardware (routers, switches, wireless access points, load balancers, wireless controllers, WAN Optimizers, …) and software upgrades.
• Check daily system log report to monitor logs generated by all network devices using management tools.
• Handle trouble tickets assigned to network team.
• Handle the acceptance of new Point of Sales (POS)/Stores Projects.
• Provide 24/7 on call support for Etisalat employees.
• Download and test new network software. Also, test new network solutions.
• Perform system backups and recovery and prepare planned network outages.
• Cooperate in troubleshoot and debug Network or in case of major failures.
• Develop regular monthly reports showing the status and availability for Network.
• Install, Configure and maintain CISCO switches and routers.
• Install and configure HP pro-curve switches (Cairo underground Metro Project).
