• Execute all types of internal communications inside Coventry University
• Create different types of content to be used for clear communication with employees such as text emails, multimedia content, high-end visuals
• Deliver HR Orientation to New Hires.
• Work closely with management and employees to improve
work relationships build morale and increase productivity and
retention.
• Meet with line management, discuss problems and conflicts
and provide HR guidance.
• Act as primary focal point for all HR requests including and
not limited to HR letters, letters of experience letters, leave requests, department heads requests, Staff data
• Handle the recruitment process including: Sourcing, referrals, scheduling, interviews, hiring of newly appointed candidates.
• Supervise and train the intern recruiters
• Lead staff investigations and disciplinary actions and Resolves employees’ conflicts
• Supervise Oracle ERP System approvals and reports
• Diagnose potential organizational problem areas and help management in resolving them
• Create and supervise the staff resignation process conduct exit interviews with
possibility of retention for high performers.
• Maintains and updates periodically the approved headcount and vacancies list/report
• Maintains the Job Descriptions for all positions within the assigned areas
• Maintains and updates SAP Organization Management Module
• Collaborates with the Department/School Heads to develop consistent Organizational Charts.
• Maintains and updates the Organizational Charts data in Org. Plus® periodically.
• Manages the Recruitment Process of his/her assigned area(s) by consistently;
Acquiring the necessary approvals for the Employment Requisition Form.
Posting vacancy announcements.
Screening application forms.

Preparing the necessary Salary Assessment Sheets.

Acting as the HR Front for newly hired employees (explaining to them benefits, necessary employment documentation…etc.)
• Develops reports that assist University’s Management in taking effective HR decisions
• Produces the Vacancy Report using SAP & consolidates it with Staff Affairs Transaction Report & the Budget Office.
• Conducts exit interviews to assess employee’s concerns.
• Work with department’s managers to identify organizational and employee developmental requirements that aligns with the university’s overall HR Strategy.
• Administers the Annual Performance Appraisal Process.
• Arranges Development Matrix and training courses to employees
• Responsible for Most of HR Fields for 9 Countries within Middle East and Africa:
Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, Iran, Sudan, Libya, Yemen, Syria and Palestine
• Lead the Training and development across Middle East and Africa markets:
- Launched “Boost” Training Academy across the region along with it’s different learning and development program
- Created and delivered a robust HR induction training to all new comers across the region regularly.

• Submit disciplinary action list for field and office employees to guarantee equality for employees.
• Publish and update Field and Office Employee Handbooks to communicate policies, procedures and rights to employees.
• Prepare monthly HR newsletter to improve communication between HR and Field employees.
• Manage annual Employee engagement survey program to guarantee engaging employees with the company.
• Arrange field visits to improve communication between head office and field employees.

candidates (job portal, agencies etc.)

• Ensure all personnel matters are handled in accordance with National and
International acts and labor agreements.
• Ensure all matters in connection with illness, accidents and deaths are handled in
accordance with the Company procedures and policies.
• Be part of the 24 hours duty arrangement for HR.
• Produce proposals for crew change schedules and arrange and conduct travel
activities accordingly, including fit to travel and course compliancy.
• Issue joining instructions, job description, contract and letter of assignment to all
new personnel joining the units within the area of responsibility.
• Supervise that payroll accounting procedures comply with actual agreement rates
and conditions.
• Conduct activities related to legal formalities for offshore personnel (e.g. visa, work
permits, dispensations and certification)
• Arrange training courses for personnel as specified by the MD policies, the
Managers of the individual activities and rules and regulations.
• Closely follow employees’ performance with a view to deciding on future (training /
transfer/ promotion / demotion / termination) of the employees
• Coordinate all activities with the Maersk Drilling Copenhagen HR department
