DETAILED DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Receive, label, and analyse samples.
Perform routine and specialized tests in all units of the laboratory.
Prepare samples for testing if preparation is necessary.
Plan, setup and conduct testing experiments according to ordered test.
Maintain and calibrate equipment including daily, weekly, and monthly procedures.
Record and analyse data and present to Lab incharge when needed.
Follow safety rules and regulations as well as SOPs.
Manage stock/inventory as well as storage and alert when shortage is reached.
Demonstrate procedures and provide technical support to staff when needed.
Write reports, reviews, and summaries.
Carry out risk-assessments.
Keep area safe, organized, and uncluttered.
Safely handle and discard of biohazardous specimens and chemicals.
Properly use PPE and understand their limitations.
Consult with lab supervisor prior to using any hazardous materials.
Promptly report accidents and/or unsafe working conditions to supervisor and EHCs.
Participate and accreditation programs and fulfil their requirements.
Perform EQC testing / proficiency testing.
Organize and store any chemical substances, gases, and fluids according to safety regulations.
Perform daily, weekly, monthly QC and calibration.
Ensure all health and safety guidelines are strictly followed.

Working in Blood bank, Hematology Biochemistry, Hormone
Parasitology and Microbiology department, Phlebotomy PRP and IUI preparation and doing
all routine examination tests.
