• In -depth large scale deployment knowledge of Cisco IOS and NX -OS such as Cisco ASR routers, Nexus 5K/7K, Catalyst Switches, wireless controllers, Cisco ACI, Cisco APIC Load Balancers, Cisco UCS integration, Riverbed WAN Optimizers etc.
• Solid understanding of WAN technologies, MPLS/VPLS, IPSEC, VPN, BGP, OSPF protocols.
• Strong OSI layer 2 knowledge and practical experience, including various flavors of Spanning Tree, ARP, QoS, OTV, VDC, VPC etc, PVLAN, Community VLAN’s.

• Supporting Telco system monitoring and management tools such as Tivoli, Wireshark, Solar-winds, .

Duties:
Administering LANs,
Analysing & developing key components using methodology prescribed techniques.
Communicating with Field Engineers, specialists and other staff. to Keep 99% availability of ISP network.
Network connectivity troubleshooting, ping, tracert, telnet.
Responsible for management protocol (SNMP) & Communication Protocols (LACP), configuration.
Investigating, diagnosing and resolve all network problems.
Maintaining pre-packaged software applications on the LAN.
Cisco & H3C switch configuration in particular VLAN configuration/troubleshooting.
Working with multiple technical platforms i.e. mainframe, two-tiered client-servers
and three-tiered client-servers.

Duties:

Provide first-level technical support on Dell supplied XPS Series products and/or peripherals using documented procedures and available tools

Troubleshooting using techniques and tools to identify technical defects/issues
Actively supports the customer in all aspects through to problem resolution, keeping the customer informed and updated throughout life of incident
Maintains knowledge of Dell's product line and service offerings along with future industry products and technologies
Attends required technical training sessions and makes effective use of assigned lab time
Complies with schedule adherence to ensure overall service level targets are achieved
Identifies and provides input on unique or recurring customer problems
