1. Provide counseling to, and respond to queries from, asylum seekers and refugees, including in the context of the notification of negative RSD decisions.
2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and data related to all work on individual cases.
3. Systematically apply an age, gender and diversity (AGD) perspective in the performance of assigned functions.
4. Conduct research on country of origin information (COI) and other issues related to RSD and maintain the operation's local repository of relevant information, guidelines, and standards accessible to RSD staff in the operation.
5. Assist in monitoring RSD trends and in compiling and analyzing RSD statistics related to RSD case processing.
6. Assist in developing and maintaining processes to ensure that persons of concern, Government authorities and partners have accurate information on the RSD procedures, including UNHCR standards, policies and practice.
7. Assist in initiatives to advocate with and support Government authorities and legal partners to establish and strengthen fair and efficient RSD procedures and RSD decision-making.
8. Draft correspondence and reports relating to the RSD activities of the Operation.
9. Supported Berm mission to make sure that all protection concerns are addressed by the PoC at Rugban camp in coordination with the Jordanian authority.
1. Monitor the overall situation in the camp, collect data and other information relevant to UNHCR programs and report to the supervisor accordingly.
2. Monitor the implementation of UNHCR programs including the delivery of all assistance and monitoring of services and infrastructure.
3. Undertake regular visits to various sites in order to assess needs of persons of concern, with particular attention to vulnerable groups and make referrals to the relevant parties.
4. Keep regular contacts with local authorities and implementing partners as requested by supervisor.
5. Act as an interpreter when required.
6. Contribute to the preparation of situation and progress reports by providing information, preparing statistics, etc.
7. Assist in administrative tasks as required such as preparation of reports and assisting in the facilitation of high-level visits and missions to the camp and assisting them during field missions.
8. Provide feedback and intervention on the reports received on persons of concern within the community or from the local authorities.
9. In coordination with implementing partners, assist in the reception, registration, and provision of assistance to persons of concern to UNHCR
1. Representing NRC in other NGOs meetings and events.
2. The communication channel between NRC and beneficiaries.
3. Keep all the information about the community in the camp up to date.
4. Prepare daily and weekly reports about all the updates of NRC's activities.
5. Prepare and conduct Post Distribution Monitoring assessments after each distribution.
6. Prepare distribution schedules based on various elements.
