In BCSIR, I worked in the Oilseed and Lipid Technology department of the Institute of Food Science and Technology (IFST). During my 1 Month internship tenure, I have:
1. Implemented Gas Chromatography for fats and oils quality control, ensuring compliance through precise analysis and adherence to industry standards.
2. Hands-on experience in the determination of quality control parameters of oil including Peroxide value, Iodine value, Saponification Value, and Free Fatty Acid Value.
3. Optimized oil extraction processes, contributing to efficiency and accuracy by refining sample preparation techniques for continuous improvement in product quality in the fats and oil sector.
