primary responsibilities of this position is the effective management of loan performance in accordance with the approved credit risk policies, guidelines and procedures. And the effective administration of the credit facilities in accordance with the mandate as prescribed in the credit risk policies and guidelines.
•Ensure the compliance with bank’s credit risk appetite, best practice and local regulatory requirements.
•Support the Management in the development of policies, procedures on credit administration, impairments, write-off and arrears management.
•Maintain a tracker of all issues raised in Audits, Business Reviews and Regulatory Audits
•Monitor grading of accounts and related provisioning and promptly recommend amendments to relevant approving authorities as and when the risk profile of borrowers change.
•Daily monitoring of outstanding balances versus approved limits on all accounts that bear a credit risk, including unauthorized excesses and ensuring that all excesses are either duly approved by the relevant authority or declined and entries reversed.
•Ensure that adequate insurance covers and/or collateral is maintained.
•Developing timely and effective account rectification strategies in collaboration with respective Relationship Managers/officers in relation to problem accounts to protect the bank’s lending position and minimize losses.
•Produce daily, monthly and quarterly credit reports for senior management.
•Ensure timely delivery and accuracy of periodic reports to CB, Risk Bureau
