I have been working as Team Leader in the Commercial Department- Contracting Unit since February 2013. I supervise three relationship managers handling 44 borrowing relationships with total portfolio size of SR2.2MM.
The major roles I conduct are as follows:
Identify strengths and weaknesses of existing clients and find ways to enhance the relationship.
Introduce new borrowing relationships
Cross sell banking products.
Monitor and manage team’s performance through monthly budget versus actual.
Finalize all approvals, and pending issues with Head office to ensure mutual satisfaction of customers and entertain bank’s policy.
Deputize The Regional Head when presenting high exposure clients to Executive committee.
Appraised as outstanding performer during my entire tenure with ANB.
Managed more than fifteen borrowing/current relationships with the bulk of exposure was to clients with revenues ranging between SR50-200 million.
Introduced/converted many prospects.
Conducted financial assessment of top tier commercial clients along with their credit worthiness.
Structure the proposed facilities along with the required documents after understanding the client’s needs in a way that protects the bank and makes it easy for the client to meet the terms with suitable structure and pricing to avoid defaults, i.e. lend against cash flows.
Structure up to date banking solutions for our clients to increase control efficiency over their cash flows and strengthen their financial position.
Tailor SAMBA’s services to match the business requirements of the customers.
Strive to further grow and improve the relationship with my clients while paying special focus on profitability targets enabling the bank to thrive under rising competitive conditions. That resulted in an increase of 61% in my portfolio’s profitability during 2009.
Maintain and build account profitability with new Prospects and assigned customers by using a range of banking products.
Verified and coordinated the daily transactions with customer services and operations.
Finalized all approval, documentation and operational issues to insure smooth utilization of facilities.
Advise and assist the clients with issues related to their own performance.
Consolidated & prepared the monthly MIS report.
Prepared & analyzed Mid-Year and Year-End Accountability reports.
Preparing departmental operating plan.
Organized & Coordinated Annual Operating Plan, including Support services requirements.
Develop and maintained statistical reports, cost control measures, and other areas of concern.
Served as an advisor in assisting the manager, division heads and other supervisor staff in details of operating plans, manpower/expenditures budget, performance review, and accountability reports.
Coordinate with accounting to transfer costs/budgets between organizations.
