• Provide support to the Development Team at ATM@JUST innovation and research lab (the link: https://www.researchgate.net/project/ATMJUST-Advanced-Arabic-Text-Mining ) and ( https://www.researchgate.net/Majd_Alsoud ):
1. Design, develop, implement and maintain big data, Network and HPC (High performance computer) solutions.
2. Complete various Master research projects.
3. Interpret results using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple system analysis to complex system work with the doctors to identify the needed requirements.
4. Coordinate computer Network management.
5. Participate in team meetings and strategic planning.
6. Participate in Conferences and events
7. Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned
Some of my duties include.
• Provides direction, assigns tasks and gives instructions to data entry workers and evaluates individual performance.
• Monitors the progress of activities of assigned daily data entry workers and ensures they are implemented conform planning and quality standards.
• Develops own weekly activity planning.
• Provides CC technical support to beneficiaries.
• Provide support and act as an ICT focal point.
• Identifies gaps, problems in the implementation area of own activities.
• Prepares and files accurate records of project activities and ensures all information is accurate and available in time.
Specific responsibilities
• Carry out data collection as required. Ensure that data is collected and recorded ethically and within the remits of NRC policy on confidentiality and consent.
• Responsible for the allocation of tasks, supervision and support to data entry volunteers on a daily basis.
•Support field-based media focal points in the development of photography, storytelling, and case study production skills.
• Implement and manage a picture database of NRC programme activities, including the collection of photo documentation of NRC’s activities
• Responsible for registration, student exam results and attendance for both students and teachers.
• Create systems for producing regular reports/fact sheets reflecting the data entered in databases, and produce weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly management supporting reports and analysis as required.
• Train other team members on project specific M&E tools and skills if necessary.
• Ensure the centre and programme management are informed through proper data analysis to guide programme
Teaching the following courses:
1- Networks
2- C++ and programing
3- OS and Archi.
Supervising the computer labs in JUST
1- troubleshoot the hardware and software. also sometimes the network.
2- support network equipment.
3- install the needed licensed software such as c++ and keep record of licenses.
Some of my duties include:
1. Define and support the implementation and maintenance of software systems, hardware and network troubleshooting.
2. Partners with Enterprise Architecture to determine solution approach on technology solutions implemented, when applicable.
3. Manage technology related objectives and issues across the company platform.
4. support the other departments in Bradford with software licenses, hardware and network troubleshooting
4. Work with peers to ensure alignment of business, technology and execution at the platform level.
5. Lead data analysis in an effort to understand the health of data integrations and create a framework for continuous improvement.
6.Configure, manage and support network equipment.
7. Evaluate and refine methodologies/approaches to the technical work.
7. Participate in and/or facilitates discussions to resolve conflicting opinions on technology direction when necessary.
8. Provides directions and/or input into planning and project change requests
Programming: Programming Mainly in Database development and securing, Web development as I am a certified ASP.net Developer from Microsoft.
Data mining: SQL server 2008, MongoDB and NoSQL, Classification, Clustering, Big data : Hadoop, Phoenix for big data .
Give training in both software development ( c++/ c#/ java/ ANDROID APPLICATIONS ) and in web development ( ASP.net, HTML)
- support the public government school computer labs ( those school that have two shifts to teach the jordanians and Syrians)
- Give ICDL training to the syrians children at the public government school.
- help the poor Jordanians and Syrians to complete their study in the Jordanians universities and collages
