• Developing and finalizing work on specific elements of a project under the direction and supervision of senior team members:
-Developing Motor Control Centre schedules and sizing the mechanical transformers and generators.
-Sizing MCCs/EMCCs and designing the MCC rooms to ensure that the rooms dimensions are compatible with our design.
-Working on Amtech calculations to ensure that there are no faults in our design, such as voltage drop, earth loop Impedance and cable sizing.
-Sizing tenants’ isolators according to the unit classification and areas. (Majors, Mini Majors, Line shops, Flagship shops, restaurants, and cafes).
-Sizing tenants’ MDBs according to the isolators and incomer ratings.

• Understanding and following electrical standards and client requirements:
-Following Majid Al Futtaim MEP Design Standards to ensure that our design meets the client’s requirements.
-Adhering the Saudi Electrical Code to ensure that the electrical systems are safe to obtain the authority acceptance.
-Reviewing the electrical package during the QAQC process to ensure that our design follows the relevant codes and standards:
- Small power (Landlord Tenant and Mechanical): Checking that all isolators and provisions are presented such as Security, Signage and Park Assist…), and ensuring that isolators ratings are matching with the load breakdown sheets.
- DB schedules: checking Incomer isolator, number of ways, spare and load balancing.)
- Containment package: reviewing cable trays sizes and routing strategy.
- Schematics: ensuring that all loads, transformers, generators, starters, cables, and busbars are well presented in a single line diagram.
• Coordinating with all other disciplines in all the project stages to analyze a potential problem and provide a well-considered solution:
-Attending weekly internal and external meetings to discuss and analyze design problems.
-Coordinating with team members and discipline using Revizto to visualize and analyze the design in 3D.
-Monitoring, coordinating, and guiding global design office supporting our design.
• Drawing up new electrical system plans using AutoCAD and following NEC standards.
• Preparing the materials take-off taking into consideration that quantities and specifications do not surpass the allocated budget.
• Analyzing and developing new features and ideas to enhance energy efficiency.
