• Prepares the fiscal year operational budget and conducts budget cycle reviews.
• Coordinates the preparation of routine or special reports for F&C management review and approval.
• Works with planning group and/or organizational heads in maintaining management information systems to assist F&C Management in keeping operations, manpower, and financial budgets within established programs and standards.
• Conducts gap analysis relating to productivity and effective utilization of funds and resources or other areas of concern to share it with F&C Management.
• Develops and maintains operational performance data with particular emphasis on trends, statistical reports, forecasts, visual presentations, cost control measures required, and other communications materials for management purposes.
• Assists the Department Manager in doing detailed analytical work, making charts & graphs and organizing relevant data in preparation of management requested reports & studies.
• Analyses the possibilities of reducing costs, improving manpower utilization and related areas.
• Serves as an advisor in assisting the Division Heads and other supervisory staff in details of operating plans, manpower & expenditure, performance review, accountability reports, related policy, or procedural changes.
• Solves problems and handles other matters related to budget and expenditures.
• Conducts special studies as assigned.
• Coordinates the progress of the Expenses and Capital Budgets in line with the KAUST budget life cycle process.
