• Assure 24/7 network elements monitoring.
• Correlate issues from different monitoring systems to identify service impacts and outage events.
• Follow up and escalate network faults until get solved within the agreed OLAs.
• Take 1st line action to solve pending issues on network.
• Audit network faults and make sure all issues are being reported to other teams by the NOC team.
• Ensure sufficient recording for network events and incidents by the NOC team.
• Audit and control major incidents reports notifications.
• Execute all configurations and operations related to wireless network according to agreed OLAs.
• Perform major operations and changes requested from NOC team.
• Organize and supervise daily tasks related to change requests from NOC team and conduct the needed audit processes.
• Manage NOC folders and keep NOC configuration data reliable and up to date.
• Document and update NOC processes, procedures and policies according to work demands.
• Plan and implement regular network health and consistency checks.
• Assure timely responds to all requests received by NOC in the shape of phone calls, emails or official forms.
• Provide assistance to public security persons and GID.
• Work as single point of contact “SPOC” with other operators regarding network incidents.
• Support NOC team and other teams’ members for technical and non-technical issues.
• Provide guidance and training to NOC team members in their daily activities.
• Assure implementing and adherence to NOC processes, procedures and policies.
• Assure proper implementation of access management process.
• Manage, maintain and troubleshoot the network monitoring systems to ensure optimal network performance and do the necessary follow up.
• Responsible for users accounts management in term of privileges and policies.
• Generate daily, weekly and monthly reports related to network faults and activities.
• Prepare needed Ad-hoc reports for higher management related to major events and public holidays.
• Manage to generate incident reports by maintenance team and distribute to all concerned parties.
• Audit regularly on reliability and availability of NOC reports.
• Supervise the feedback mechanism to control the plan goals and target.
• Setup the OLA between operation and other teams.
• Responsible for front/back office planning, commissioning, maintenance, expansion, cutover, rehoming, upgrade and monitoring of WiMAX & RAN telecoms network elements (RNC, BSC, NodeB/ BTS/RBS/DBS levels).
• Preparing Scripts of different types of operations according to the frequency planning and BSS and transmission data base.
• Alarm monitoring and complete fault management of BSS/RAN/PRTG/MRTG & Core Network.
• Prepare and track professional NOC and performance reports for identifying GSM/UMTS/WiMAX network availability, major outages and abnormal network trends & stats and form resolutions for those faults in weekly and monthly basis.
• Provide full integration, configuration and commissioning support for special projects (please refer down to Projects Section).
• Perform routine health check on through OSS for GSM & UMTS vendor equipment.
• Guarantee right methods for network health and consistency checks.
• Track and highlight major incidents and abnormal network trends and identify threats on.
• Re - Solve all technical issues may be raised and affect the whole network service.
• Taking necessary system backups as per the schedule, Keep necessary records for historical logging, and frequently clear unnecessary data as per retention policies.
