Plan and create the company network designs and configurations adhering to industry best practices and aligning with function strategy.
Create high level technical documentation for supporting projects delivery and Technical Implementations for networks.

I worked with King Saud University in Riyadh, one of the biggest networks in the kingdom by its number of network devices, users and branches (more than 40 branches, more than 2000 switches/routers and about 100, 000 users). My duties includes the following tasks:
Installation and Administration of King Saud University NOC (Network Operation Center), which includes Ciscoworks, Opmanager and SolarWinds for network devices monitoring and traffic performance analysis.
Design and implementation of our new WAN/Internet modules which include routers, and switches configurations, protocols implementation such as BGP, OSPF for internal routing.
Administration of a wide range of Cisco switches and routers including 6500 series, 3750 stacks, 4948, 3800 2800, and 7200 routers…
All network protocols including routing protocols specially OSPF and BGP, Layer 2 protocols such as SPT, VTP, VLANs …

Meeting with vendors and partners for evaluating and presenting new products and new IT solutions. I am responsible for the technical review and analysis.
