Presently working in a Wind Resource Mapping project as Project Engineer, a project of World Bank (WB) and AEDB, Pakistan. I this project, we are working on installation of wind masts to provide data for future installation of wind turbines. In this project, I familiarized myself with Steel Standards (ASTM, SAE, and AISI) and Steel Grades. I worked on design parameters of structure, environmental constraints, types of mast, bolt requirement, strength of material used and other parameters. I worked on design parameters and designing softwares like ProEngineer, STAAD as well as Project Management Software Like Microsoft Project 2007
Operations Highlights:
Got acquaintance with types of tower & classes of tower.
Selected type of tower for our project according to our requirement and durability.
Prepared Project Schedule using Microsoft Project Professional 2007.
Selected steel type by comparing their yield strengths, Elastic limits to that required by our mast by finding its mass & load applied to it.
Assisted in design and & analysis of Mast.
Developed a criterion for site selection using international guideline for best practices.
Performed analysis of Wind Mast in STAAD Pro.
Prepared Quality Assurance Plan & BOQ of Project
In BOQ, calculated BOM of all materials, different machining operations & other factors.
Selected different instruments related to Met Masts like Anemometer, Wind Vane, Temperature sensors etc by Market Survey of different famous brands like Ammonit, Riso, Vector, Thies, Vaisala etc.
Selected best sites within verified regions of Pakistan according to International Standards.
Procurement using Market survey to local Vendors.
Supervised the manufacturing mast sections
Completed site visits and verified the sites according to different parameters defined in that criterion form.
Maintained official records of works completed & task completed in different file folder.
I assisted in
preparation and submission of electrical drawing programs and preparation of technical calculations like voltage drop, Power factor correction etc, trouble shooting of problems of Unknown cause
Issuing reports on failures suggesting suitable corrective actions.
I have been involved in maintenance of all mechanical equipment and preparing preventive maintenance program of Instruments installed and
recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans;
implementing production, productivity, quality, completing audits; determining system improvements; implementing change.
Providing electrical power to work stations, maintaining inventory, organized daily inspection of equipments.
Liaising with different departments, taking all these steps using EHS Guidelines in view.
I worked there as internee engineer in One of OGDCL, s fields The Rajian Oil field, Which is currently producing more than 1650barrels per day. I worked there in different departments mainly production, maintenance and HSEQ department.
My responsibilities were to know the basic operation being taken place and the problems occur during production and their solution in Maintenance department.
I achieved the aim to familiar myself and to know real problems in Oil & Gas field and how to overcome them.
Besides this, During that Internship I did some official work with PC and got a little Knowledge about it. I learnt how to work as a team in job and got a skills how to deal different people in industry and it improved my interpersonal skills.
I am Bachelors in Mechatronics engineering from College of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. I am looking to work in excelling organization that offers professional growth being resourceful, innovative and flexible, where my skills can be put to fruitful use, and where I can apply my technical management and interpersonal abilities and to expertise in related field. I want to reach worthy goals which enhance my quality as an individual as a professional, and to reach those goals within specific deadlines...
