Company background:
MJC is a newly formed company recently announced by His Majesty, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to undertake the implementation of Jeddah’s integrated transportation system. This company is responsible for the design, construction, testing, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of metro, commuter trains, tramway, buses and water ferries.
MJC’s plans include a Metro network over a total distance of 108 kilometers. This three-line network will have 80 stations. The company also plans to develop commuter trains, tramways, BRT and feeder buses, water ferries, Obhur Bridge and a multimodal station. The Company envisages project cost at SR 45 Billion, approximately.
Responsibilities include:
• Plan MJC schedule - JPTP High level.
• Participated in establishing MJC in regards of establishment contract, higher committee MOMs, etc..
• Developed business model (Building Block Model “project, enablers and pillars” for MJC and JPTP), MJC General Strategy cascaded and aligned from National Strategy, Ministry of Transportation, Jeddah Municipality, Jeddah Company, , and funding strategy.
• MJC Strategy Articulation (Mission, Vision, Strategic Objectives, value proposition, and Initiatives).
• Prepared MJC Stakeholder Map and Communication Plan.
• Developed MJC Strategic and Business Plans and Operating Modal.
• For Finance - develop and Implement Financial Management with an emphasize on Sustainable Financial Model.
• For Organizational and Human Capital -Led, develop and detail Organizational Structure for MJC and the resources plans, develop and detail the human recourses plans and requirements and Human Capital Readiness Plan.
• Process & Procedures (P&P).
• Information Communication Technology (ICT) & Implementation, including ERP for Finance, HR and Purchasing.
• Managed the set-up for Pre - Program Management and Program Management Office (PMO),
• Aligned Architectural Design Competition and Architectural Management, Preliminary Engineering Design (PED), and Construction Contracts of JPTP with MJC General Strategy.
• Reached along with architectural design stage of JPTP with build-up excellence Building Block model in a timely fashion.
