Project Scope
This Engineering, procurement and construction - EPC
Contract includes civil, marine, electrical and major Mechanical scope of works to install a sea water intake Facility no.3 (SWI 3) at Ruwais General Utilities Plant (GUP) . The scope of work for this project includes detailed design and engineering, procurement, construction, and start up for SWI 3 facilities. This independent facility is Complete with Screening trains, stop logs, sea water pumps And other auxiliary facilities. The new facility will provide (80, 500 m3/hour)
Implementation of HSE plan.
Assuring Standard Operating Procedures.
HSE inspections (power tools, hand tools, scaffolding, PPE's, housekeeping, lifting gears, vehicles and plant machinery etc).
Risk Assessment and Hazard Identification before start of any activity and during the activity.
Immediate stop of any unsafe work and advice the job supervisor
To promote HSE awareness among all the workforce at project through HSE trainings, HSE bulletins, handout and flyers etc. Assurance of proper PPE's in the area.
Reporting of near misses and take daily basis observations from site.
Coordination with Client regarding site HSE issues.
Conduct Advance Safety Audit (ASA) of the site.
Conduct walk through audits of the area daily w.r.t implementation of safe work practices at site.
Ensure that all the area of improvement is addressed in the timely manner.
Ensure for correct implementation of ERP at site.
Implementation of traffic management plan.
Implementation of waste management plan.
Documentation and record keeping.
Arranging emergency drills.
Reporting to HSE Manager.

Profile: A qualified, result oriented, dedicated and skilled professional Occupational Health & Safety professional with over thirteen (13) years of construction industry experience with NEBOSH IGC, ISO 45001 Internal auditor and pursuing Level 6. Expert at inspecting and evaluating workplaces for safety hazards and recommending and implementing safe workplace policies and procedures. Licensed and certified to administer and teach first aid and OHSE procedures. Outstanding interpersonal, presentation, and training skills with proven ability to interact effectively with technicians and management at all levels.
