1.Evaluate the client’s requirements and prepare the fee proposal for the required architectural works. The clients could be internal from the other business groups or external ones.
2.Evaluation of the project requirements and ensuring the man power availability, deadlines and delivery dates and client satisfaction.
3.Prepare the project requirements from the base client brief and meetings.
4.Preparation of the design basis report and the concept design as per the client’s requirements and local or international codes of practice.
5.Preparation and coordinate the detailed design drawings, specifications and assist in preparation of bill of quantities for the project
6.Preparation of final tender documentations, construction drawings and details as required by the project brief.
7.Control the design process and ensure that the design team does not design beyond the contract requirements
8.Coordinate and supervise all architectural activities and operations in the project.
9.Liaison with the client representative for obtaining the necessary approvals related to architectural elements and finishes.
10.Lead the coordination meetings between the designers & contractors.
11.Ensure that contractor submittals comply with the contract documents and proceeding accordance with project procedures manual.
12.Reply on all request for information and proposals for design changes raised by contractor.
13.Review and process all architectural technical submittals received from the contractor.
14.Liaison and coordinate with the necessary sub consultants to ensure provide coordinated information with project contract documents.
15.Regular visits to Project site to ensure quality of work is in compliance with contract requirements, good construction practice, and compliance with shop drawings.
16.Monitor the quality of the final finishes of the over all project and lead the inspectors snagging process/feed back.
17.Review As-Built drawings submitted by the contractor.
